Selecting Animations

I would love to be called an idiot, or chastised for not reading... so long as the solution to the problem is included or identified <g>.

 

      How can I select from among all valid, installed animations for any particular scene?

 

The problem is that I have hundreds of animations installed, all properly loaded and registered in SL, yet during most scenes, the number of additional valid animations I can select from using tools/mods like Defeat (the 0  (zero) key) is limited to a very small subset. For instance, I may have 200 valid MF animations installed and registered, but when I use the select/change animation function of any mod that includes that function, I am typically offered anywhere from 0 (zero) to 20 or 30 options.

 

How can I access the other 170+ valid animations? I know they're all there, recognized and working because every now and then the list will randomly populate with something specific I'm looking for. But it's hit or miss.

 

I've googled and googled using every search trick I know... I see plenty of similar questions but no answers that have worked for me. Some of the more promising suggestions seem to refer to features or functions apparently no longer present in the current version of a mod. For instance, I found several posts suggesting SL Tools as a solution... something to do with using a "select animation" button. I installed SL tools but found no such function anywhere in the SL Tools menus.

 

I'm not a scripter or a coder myself, but for someone who does know this stuff is it really that complex or hard to do? I concede that I may be vastly underestimating the difficulties here. If so, a word to that effect would be appreciated as well.

In Sexlab Tools press SHIFT + Tool hotkey and you'll be handed a variety of options, to chosse the stage of the animation, the tags of the animation i.e: Blowjob, Vaginal, Anal, Aggresive etc... (Probably what you're looking for) and some other things. I think the UI just can't handle showing you a list of 170+ animations. I got 400 and somethin animations and I can acess them all through the tags and shizz on Sexlab Tools.

Thanks. I gave it another try using the Tools controls as you suggested. Unfortunately, when the scene begins, I'm seeing the exact same limitations. For instance, all of the animations will show up in the Tools anim list when I configure a scene, but when the scene plays, it's using completely different anims. Other mods like Follow Me will offer the same limitations and the same limited subset at any given time. Leito's Missionary 1 and Lieto's Missionary 2 will be available, but not Leito's Missionary 3. This is just an example. It seems to be random. Sometimes it's 1 and 3 but not 2. Or just 1, or just 3, or none of them at all. Next time I try it they may all be there but other anims that were there previously are now missing. It seems to be arbitrary. Something must be filtering the animations but I can't figure out what.
