camera PoV help

Hey guys.  I've got FP running, but for some reason, the camera angle never goes to the 'fly around' stage.  Instead it allows me to pan around, but the focal point never really gets a good FoV of the characters, and I can't scroll in or out.  At this point I don't want to try to screw around with settings without a little guidance beforehand, because everything is working with limited issues and I don't want to break it again.  Thanks in advance for any guidance  :)
