Wish Upon a Star Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 can anyone help me, how to convert xnalara model to Dead or alive tmc file ??
funnybunny666 Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 I been doing this recently(for science), my procedure is resize the meshes in blender, select the bone structure and press ''s'' to resize to the character or your choice, you have to import a reference first, then in your xps model delete all vertex groups on every mesh, then use the vertex paint function in blender for every mesh, export and insert into your .TMC file, this is what I've been doing with those DOAX3, DOAXVV xps files, it may be another easiest methods but I think this might be helpful.

funnybunny666 Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 my blender version sometimes doesn't load the .ascii file, so I always open .mesh file or .xps, it depends if your plug-ins are updated too, but use the one that you can open and edit, lel

funnybunny666 Posted July 16, 2018 Posted July 16, 2018 Obviously that doesn't going to work with meshes like skirts, they have their own bones and physics, porting xps to tmc requires a lot of knowledge and skils to fully import bones and costume physics, and that's why I don't take xps requests.

funnybunny666 Posted July 16, 2018 Posted July 16, 2018 I use in game parts for my mixed mods, and TMC Object Tool has a ''import'' function, which allows you to import parts into your mod, for example, a skirt, if there is a costume and the skirt is separated from the main bone structure, you can import just the skirt, but sometimes the skirt is attached at the whole costume, so you have to import all, in xps I did some tests to recreate the skirt and ribbon physics, first, I imported the parts I needed, like skirt, then in blender I weight painted the xps skirt using the tmcmesh from the TMC skirt as a base, then inserted into the TMC mod, but the results weren't good, the base skirt needs to be at least 90% exact in from and size to resemble your xps part, it's a proccess of try and error, and lots of patience.
