Mod Organizer - Unable to init SSL Context: (99)

As it says in the title when I attempt to install a mod from nexus I get the error "Unable to init SSL Context (99)." I tried looking online to see if there was a possible fix, but I was unable to find any so if anyone has any tips that would be greatly appreciated! Ty ❤️

Your windows handler for nexus: is not working.

I am not sure how to fix it.

But you can always download the mods manually and just drag'n'drop in the download section of MO to install them.

I was able to download mods from the nexus just find today but IDK what happened.

Problem is still persistent. I'll probably just take your advice and manually download everything.

I know this is late but if you go here https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6194?tab=files and download the legacy version it fixes it. The legacy is the last update for Mod Orgainzer 1 with a few fixes to fix the download issue.
