Acies Gecko Posted July 9, 2018 Posted July 9, 2018 Hello! I'm having some issues with the sexout mod. Everytime I quicksave or when the game autosaves I get like 5 seconds of lag. It never happened before installing sexout so it might be the cause. I only have the Sexout.esm, no other sexout plugins. Here's my load order: Spoiler [X] FalloutNV.esm [X] DeadMoney.esm [X] HonestHearts.esm [X] OldWorldBlues.esm [X] LonesomeRoad.esm [X] GunRunnersArsenal.esm [X] ClassicPack.esm [X] MercenaryPack.esm [X] TribalPack.esm [X] CaravanPack.esm [X] Fallout3.esm [X] Anchorage.esm [X] ThePitt.esm [X] BrokenSteel.esm [X] PointLookout.esm [X] Zeta.esm [X] TaleOfTwoWastelands.esm [X] TTWInteriors_Core.esm [X] TTWInteriorsProject_Combo.esm [X] IWR.esm [X] More Perks.esm [X] Brahmin Bess.esm [X] Sexout.esm [X] TTWIntMojaveExpressBoxes_Combo.esp [X] TTW_WildWasteland.esp [X] The Mod Configuration Menu.esp [X] Readius_NV.esp [X] ItemBrowser.esp [X] Vurt's WFO.esp [X] More Perks Patch.esp [X] Portable Tent.esp [X] FarmingBob.esp [X] Acies Clothing.esp [X] Acies Weapons.esp [X] TTW Realistic Wasteland Lighting.esp My Computer specs: Spoiler Processor: i5-4690K 3.50FHz Memory: 2x8GB DRR3 1600 Mhz Graphics Cards: 1060 GTX 6GB Hard Disk Drive: SSD 250GB I've been playing for about 100 hours with only the plugins above minus sexout with no lag or stutter or performance issues. I tried installing CASM but the issue persists. Tried Sexout 97 and Sexout Beta 98. Also tried deleting all saves, clean save, uninstalled sexout, installed again, etc. Looks like the issue happens when overwriting an existing save (I never had that problem before installing Sexout). I searched the forum a bit and saw some people with the same issue but I saw no fix. I hope someone can help me.
Crooltool Posted July 9, 2018 Posted July 9, 2018 How many saves do you have in your save folder? I have found that to be a major cause of "save lag" regardless of sexout, this effect is also present in Skyrim as well. I try to keep the number of saves to under 30, also, quick saves are risky period.
Guest Posted July 9, 2018 Posted July 9, 2018 Don't use quick/auto saves then(just disable it and only use increment saves), seems like your save file is overflowed with shit in it(for example any item that you picked or moved is counting, also the scripts variables and values for them)
Crooltool Posted July 9, 2018 Posted July 9, 2018 I had a slight save lag issue in both FONV and Skyrim LE, I assumed it was mod related since both games are very heavily modded, however I went to a friends house to troubleshoot her completely unmodded Skyrim SE game for another issue and noticed she had a save lag of 3-5 minutes. I thought maybe the issue was related to something baked into a save so I went to load an earlier save to see if it was present, there I discovered she had over 300 saves, we deleted all but the last 30 saves and instantly the issue I was there to troubleshoot, and the save lag went away completely. so, I when I got home I checked my save counts in both FONV and Skyrim, and they were both over 100, I dropped those down to 30 and my slight save lag went away completely as well.

I deleted all saves except for one hard save. 49 minutes ago, Neutron_rus said: Don't use quick/auto saves then(just disable it and only use increment saves), seems like your save file is overflowed with shit in it(for example any item that you picked or moved is counting, also the scripts variables and values for them) Weird that it's overflowed with shit but never had an issue before Sexout. 40 minutes ago, Crooltool said: I had a slight save lag issue in both FONV and Skyrim LE, I assumed it was mod related since both games are very heavily modded, however I went to a friends house to troubleshoot her completely unmodded Skyrim SE game for another issue and noticed she had a save lag of 3-5 minutes. Guest Posted July 9, 2018 Posted July 9, 2018 You can try this https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/49396 to clean your save file a bit, but beware you can lose some of your current items/clothes stuff (it should back to the points where did you found them before) Also for Sexout better to start a new game before, because if you didn't made it before and just continued your old save-file then it can be the main reason of bad working of Sexout

I'll try to start a new game but I'd hate to lose all my progress.

As i said before, just use the increment/manual saves then, set up your casm to do only incremental saves and enjoy your game. Also you can use this https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/57465/ to make the same incremental saves, but via hotkeys (like default quick/load stuff) And also x2, don't use the same save-file multiple times, it can cause some bugs too
