Ursus Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 Hello, This is my first time asking a favor, so I will try to give as much details as possible. The mod in question is called Skyrim Mail Armors ( link to nexus page https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/20825 ) The mod is superb for male characters. Yet female version is made for the default vanilla body. I have tried to adjust the armor to my CBBE curvy based body mesh in Outfit Studio and I was displeased to find that it has very low on polygon count. The nexus posts page looks abandoned with the last post from the author dating from 2012. The armor mesh is combination of collar from Mage robes and Merchant's outfit merged in Nifskope (last post of the author). Since I have not used Nifskope so far, can anybody replace the meshes with high polygone ones? I personally prefer Non-Skimpy CBBE HDT Armor Replacer 1.1 ( https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2552-non-skimpy-cbbe-hdt-armor-replacer/ ) First 2 files attached are from the original mod. Second 2 are female merchant clothes with the desired mesh. Last 2 are mage outfit meshes. If the armor is HDT animated, I will consider it a bonus. If not I will add it myself. Thank You in advance. Your female armor is just the vanilla Journeyman Robe mesh with transparency applied and an additional body mesh inserted to make up for the invisible arms. Here is a screenshot of what I did. I attached the new chainmail textures to the Journeyman Robe from the second mod you linked, and added the transparency. Now all you need to do is put in a CBBE body mesh to add the arms back in. You'll also need to fix any resulting clipping from doing that. Spoiler VBTorso_f_0.nif VBTorso_f_1.nif Also keep in mind that if the armor uses color variations, it mostly likely does so via texture set records in the plugin. Meaning you'll have to reorder and rename the mesh shapes so that they match the ones in the plugin file. Basically, if you get ingame and some of the armors are purple, let me know and I can give you a more detailed explanation on how to fix it.
Ursus Posted July 3, 2018 Author Posted July 3, 2018 Thank You! Now is time to improve my Outfit studio skills! I am impressed by the quick reply too.
