Guest Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 I have a custom body preset, a xml file. I want to apply this to my character but not to every other person of same gender in the game. I already have a custom race downloaded so I want to use that and only make this custom body preset apply for this custom race I downloaded. Is this possible? If so how? Also whenever I launch body slider, it literally loads anything but my custom one. What am I doing wrong?

Oh, that's very easy to do : -First, backup your original body meshes in the character assets folder (data/meshes/actors/characters/characters assets) -Second, open Bodyslide 2, build your custom body preset or adjust the bodyshape to your taste. -Then after you build it (normally the body you've created is on the character assets folder), move your new body created earlier in Bodyslide 2 in your custom race meshes folder. -After that, rename your original body meshes in the character assets folder (data/meshes/actors/characters/characters assets) And if you have followed the method, your custom race character has a different bodyshape than the female npcs ?

Hi! Thank you very much for answering but I've encountered few problems, please bear with me. - I have a xml file that I have downloaded for custom preset, but unfortunately this doesn't show up inside bodyslide even when I put it in the correct folder. I am sure it is what I want so I can skip this step of editing in bodyslide. - The problem occurs here, the meshes inside the mesh folder of the custom race, is in nif file, and all I have is xml file, I really have no idea where to begin.

Femme.xml Ok m8; so i looked at your bodyslide preset and apparently Unified UNP HDT is required to make your preset showing into Bodyslide 2. To make your preset working, install Unified UNP (no need to re-install if you already have it), open Bodyslide 2, select Unified UNP HDT in the Outfit/Body section and select your preset; it should be there ?
