Applying specific textures to specific armors

Hi all, ok so the thread header might be confusing, wasn't sure how to phrase it.

So basically, i found this http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/7584

Its only a texture though, which replaces the standard body texture.

My questions is, how can i apply this to a specific armor only?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

First you'd need a mesh to apply only the part of the texture with the leggings to. You'd then have to import the mesh into Blender or 3DSMax and UV map the mesh so that it utilizes the leggings part of the texture. You would then export the mesh and set up the .nif file. That tutorial that was linked to should explain these steps in more detail.

First make a folder called "leggins" in Skyrim\Data\textures and put the textures that you downloaded in there.

Then open the armour mesh in nifskope and click the body in the render window, this will highlight it's NiTriShape in the block list.

Expand the NiTriShape and then expand BSLightingShaderProperty, click BSShaderTextureSet and at the bottom in block details expand Textures.

Now click the purple flower next to the entrys that have a path and browse to Skyrim\Data\textures\leggins and replace them with the leggins textures.

Don't let astrid throw you off just replace it.

Click "save as" at the top and your done
