Pregnancy Setting

I'm not certain this is working as intended w/ the latest version of WW (3.3.4.132.2 - 6/23/18), but I have the Pregnancy Setting as such

 

Pregnancy Mode: Menstrual Cycle.  (18-21 days)

Cycle Duration: Long

Birth Control Mode: "Realistic Mode" (has a realistic chance of failing)

NPC Birth Control: Moderate "some NPC sims will have protection"

Birth Control Automatic Use "Unchecked" (disabled) - "Makes Sims use birth control automatically when needed.

 

 

I have used these settings because my desired goal is that there will be some babies being made by these households etc.  However, after 30+ different sex encounters by various Sims couples, I check the Sex Statistics, and they all have 100% use of protection (# of times had sex = # of times used protection).  

Even if they only used protection "when needed" during those few days, there should be a number of instances when it wasn't needed or used.

 

I'm not sure if anyone has anything else to contribute either empirical evidence from their games, or concur with my findings. At this rate, there'll never be babies by NPCs through WW.

 

Prior to Seasons and the newest version I have had a handful of households procreate successfully with these same settings, and the use of protection was monitored at about 40%

Nevermind - I've now seen 2 of my last 3 encounters w/ 1 less "use of protection" than times had sex. So Maybe it is working afterall - but still too consistently using I think for pregnancy to be a realized thing much.  The next level down in use is "never" - which is not ideal, either.
