Joining Fingernails and Bracelets into one hand nif - possible?

I love good manicure and bracelets for my character at the same time. But unfortunateley they are both made for the hand slot or are amulets and do not show up in 1st person view.

 

I wonder if it is possible to 'join' the meshes somehow (often seeing stuff tinkered together with nifscope by others).

 

I mean the meshes of these mods:

 

Manicure for HGEC retextured by EvenstarGW

 

and

 

Slof's Bracelet Collection

 

If possible: Could you please give me one or two links to some tutorial stuff? Thx.

Yes it is, you only need nifskope. (and a bit of effort)

Open the nif of the manicure and the one of the bracelets.

In the window showing the model (in 3d*_*), click on the nail.

 

A branch (menu) should have been selected, rightclick on it, *copy branch*

Go to the Bracelet nif, select the first (really first) node(menu) in the list and right click>paste branch.

 

You have now the bracelet meshe with the nail, don't forget to save

Nails are always rare for UFF there was only one mod:

 

UFF Nails

 

and for HGEC it's a pretty short list as well:

 

Manicure for HGEC retextured

Fingernails for HGEC

Slof's multiple Rings and Bracelets (more krulls than fingernails)

 

Should I find a new mod I will let you know.

so could you say do that with any clothing mod? some of the clothing mods out there would be nice, since there are some good looking stuff that gets replaced otherwise.

Yes, but you have to choose carefully.

One example : you had the nail on a pants clothes, the pants takes the lowerbody slot.

You wear a full armored gloves that goes up to the shoulder. You won't be able to see the nail anymore because of the "hand slot".

it didn't go so well lol, the hands seem to be either in different places or use different hands.
