wicked whims not working

I'm having some difficulty getting wicked whims to work in my game.  I've downloaded and installed it several times (deleting it all before reinstalling).  I don't see it in my game.  When I've looked at tutorials, they've shown me that when you click on a person or area (floor, bed...) that a purple wicked whims icon shows up.  That doesn't happen for me.  I have a mac.  I downloaded Keka to extract the files.  I have other mods that I used Keka to extract which have worked.  I'm really not sure what I'm doing wrong and I'm super bummed out.  I really would like to figure this out.  I've watched many tutorials on youtube and looked at the Wicked whims webpage for help and I'm just lost.

make sure, 3 files from wickedwhims mod are put directly under sims4 mods folder

and script mods allowed in game options
