Cmydagger Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 So I downloaded potion replacer ... opened it with winrar(used 7zip), installed it (just dropped folders where they needed to go) aka: in skyrim/data folder, 00potions Meshes file in the meshes folder, 00potions textures in textures file, and potions.esm in the data folder. Now everything worked fine except the cork is purple. I saw there was a patch for just that but, I don't understand how both of these files are supposed to work together to stop the bug. Now I've been searching online for a couple hours just trying to figure out how to install both at the same time (which seems to be impossible because the patch files replace the original ones) and having just the patch files installed shows all the potions as nothing, ergo no textures OR meshes. It might seem like and easy fix for all you modder know it alls out there but I've been modding skyrim since it came out, and I still have no fucking clue. So if anyone can just explain how I am supposed to install the patch alongside the main files, that would be seriously, SERIOUSLY awesome and I (and a lot of others) would be eternally greatful.
ZeRo Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Posted October 11, 2018 Posted October 11, 2018 All you need to do is extract the second patch, and overwrite everything it asks you, even the .esm file. That worked for me, at least
