I'm no expert when it comes to computers, but I think the new Origin/Sims 4 update messed up the script mods.  I re-installed a new copy of Wicked Whims and my problems seem to be resolved (keeping my fingers crossed that it continues to work).  Hope this helps - if not, someone smarter with more experience will hopefully chime in.  :)
