WickedWhims not working after 6/19/2018 Update. Help!

Ok, So for the novice, what does that mean. Do I have to delete the mods folder and then spend 20 hours downloading them all every time there is an update?

I made the same mistake. So now I made a copy somewhere so that i can copy an paste all the mods back in to sims whenever i need to take them out so its a backup. Also its good to keep a backup of the whole sims folder just in case.

So Just Delete everything for/and whickedwhims then re-download and everything should be okay?

Make sure you have the up-to-date WW mod. Turbodriver put the new update out today, so delete all your old files and put in the new one. I'm about to download it myself, so I'll tell you if it works. Also, if you're new to modding, keep this in mind - newer mods will always work better because they're made to work with the most recent game patch. Every time the game is patched, you should check if your mods need updating. Personally, I keep an excel spreadsheet so I know what mods stopped working and when. If you use less mods than me (mine are somewhere in the 2,000s currently) you don't have to do that, but always keep track for situations like these.

I removed the old WW files and installed the latest update, the WW stuff is back, but now I'm having to pause then unpause every time I need a sim to switch to the next command I gave them or to switch between sims in the same household. Even things as simple as going to the bathroom, I have to pause for them to actually sit on the toilet, then pause/unpause for them to finish, same again to flush and again to go to the sink and yet again to wash their hands. This is very annoying. Any suggestions?

Hi there, 

 

I've downloaded the updated file, unzipped it, taken it out of two folders deep, deleted the old files, enabled and restarted the game and WW still wont work. It doesnt even come up in the game, I only have the normal WooHoo options, like the mod isnt even there. What do I do?

Something in the WW file is not working with some other file in the game. I've removed and updated all major mods including WW and still getting an error and having to pause/unpause to step by step complete any action, even clearing the table of an empty plate. If I take out the WW file folder, the game runs smooth but then I'm missing the WW experience. I put it back in, and I'm back to the same scenario. Also getting an exception error when the latest WW files are loaded in the mods folder, they are not two files deep either. What's odd is that this doesn't happen with an older saved game I loaded into, so I thought maybe basemental and WW were having issues operating together, but after going through the menus on the toons, that wasn't the case. The exception error that I'm getting on the saved game I'm wanting to play keeps pointing to WW. Please help!

After much deliberation and trial and error of removing and secluding files to a seperate folder, The OoooLala content was apparently not working with the "Seasons" expansion of the game. I removed those files from my mods folder and the game is working fine. OooLala needs to update their codes.

Mine seems to be working, EXCEPT.......there is no bed interaction(other than on a single bed)? Clicking on any double bed only gives sleep or nap options, Couches and other furniture are working though.

Mine doesn't work. There is no even option for any action about this ww. I downloaded new mod, removed old mods. Enable scripts and mods in game option. Still nothing changed. like if there wouldn't be any mods..

i do have seasons and everything updated, but ww mod doesn't work,it is very sad.

My problems is everything is there but when I try to get my son to interact it acts like I'm debugging them when they should be going to the couch or what ever to do their thing. I have removed EVERYTHING from mccc to every animation and cosmetic I down loaded. just have wild_guys azmodan we and basements drugs and still doing the same thing. So aggravating. I just want my hooked teen sim to do her thing.

everytime i try any sex interactions i get this error, i have fully updated everything in my mods folder including Wicked Whims and i've check mod conflict detectors and everything says they should be working together, i deleted files that previous people said would have issues and kept ones that don't, and no matter what interaction i pick, this is what pops up, was working perfectly last week too. any idea on how to fix this? it's just a constant loop in game...

Is anyone else still having this problem after uninstalling and reinstalling everything? Keep getting a notification that the game is buggy and I need to install the latest version of WW but I have.
