Eireamhoin Posted June 15, 2018 Posted June 15, 2018 Now, I don't even know if I'll play with these, but the fact that there's a problem to solve has me stuck on it. So I've got Jc Bikini and the Lacy and Sporty underwear mods. I've got my game set up with CBBE and morphable player body and females all randomized. I built the bodies at Zeroed sliders but for the outfits, I added a little pushup to outfits when building them. So when you're naked body looks normal, when you equip the bikini or bra sets the boobs get some lift and cleavage. The issue I've noticed is some of the bras aren't built to include the body mesh. I'm sure I can fix that in outfit studio. Bottoms are simple, just build those with the slider at 0, they don't need a body included. This is also mainly on the nobody or where the bra and bottom can be worn separate. If you put on the bottom, everything is fine, when you equip a separate top, you get a double set of boobs. The uplifted ones in the bra and some clipping side boob from the underlying default body. So what I've noticed is the individual bras are in a different slot than the 33-body slot. So it's not overwriting the underlying body. Same for the bottoms. Anyone know of a reason to not have the bras in the body slot? I guess it'd be so you could wear it with something else, but what? So the fix I'm thinking is bras need to include the bodymesh and be in the body slot. Bottoms don't matter, just build at zeroed sliders. I know I'm over thinking this as I don't even know that I'd play with them, but problem solving can be fun. Thoughts?
Di3sIrae Posted June 15, 2018 Posted June 15, 2018 You are right, they make the top separated from bottom, so you can use them as you want, and some mods have shoes with the body included, for you to use the outfits/bra/panties with high heels or something like this. Not that this is the general idea, some mod authors may just want to make it like this. But it indeed causes trouble and even i had the problem of having breast with physics with a static top... Boobs bouncing behind a static clothe is both funny and scary. So, you are also right about having the body included. If you equip two separate sets that have body included... you will see strange things. Everything you assumed is correct, you need to re-build one of the parts with a body in Outfit Studio and then build it in Bodyslide to have the cleavage you want. I just gave up this and made all these outfits that doesn't have body included to not have the cleavage effect of armors. Even just doing this gave me some trouble to rebuild lots of meshes in Bodyslide to match the nude body. If you want to 'fix' this, i would recommend adding the body to the bra/top part of the outfit. Open it in the Outfit Studio with the CBBE body. (if you want to add physics, you can do this now). Then if it was made for normal CBBE, everything should match and no clipping, but if you see any, you will need to adjust the outfit by merging sliders and all of that (i assume you know how to do it). Now, if you want to add the physics from the body to the outfit, go to 'bones' and copy related bones from body to outfit part. Save the project WITH the body included (there is an option to remove it), and you will see it when building the meshe now. I am not sure, and as you said "problem solving can be fun", so i guess you would need to change the top part in the esp to body - 33 so it will actually override your body and show a body in it's place, not a empty space with a floating bra xD
Eireamhoin Posted June 15, 2018 Author Posted June 15, 2018 Thanks, that's pretty much what I had in mind. I may go in and fix them. Is there much of a reason to have the separate bra top in a slot different than the body? Seems like an easy fix. I figured out the other day how to use xEdit to change the body slot, finding the edit option was a pain, but once found it's so simple. I've messed with outfit studio a bit before, just not lately, so I'll be rusty but I can figure it out.
Di3sIrae Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 hahaha everything is difficult when you don't know what you're doing, i'm sure you can do it, there's a lot of tutorials online But it is satisfying to resolve our problems, at least for me. I don't know for any specific reason, i guess people just use only one body type and prefer to not have the body attached to not cause problems.
