Beautiful Female NPCs replacers

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I found some in nexus, but nothing nearly close to skyrim's NPC quality. For skyrim I found some sites like the sidearmf93 blog with the npc 85 mod and some others that were really good

Do you guys know any good female NPC mod that replaces the vanilla ugly ones?

Thanks!

The problem with most NPC replacers is the form list bug. There are item/NPC lists called "form lists" that are used for junk, other items, menus, and settlers. When one mod changes a form list it needs a patch before it's compatible with another mod that changes the same form list. So if Joe makes a mod that removes the Creation Club from the intro screen and Bob makes a mod that adds ten settlers you have to chose one of those unless a patch is available. There is a mod (Maybe on the Nexus?) that just changes the faces of the female settlers and there's another mod that adds some and changes all the faces but you'll have to choose.

And then if you want to swap for a new mod that adds settlers you'll have to uninstall the existing one which may make those settlers disappear (leaving their shops and gardens unattended)

I recently got a pop-up notice in the game about merging recipes, which is a form list thing, so this may be partially fixed already. Good luck.

In Skyrim, it really needed a very good NPC replacer because, well, you all know the reasons lol
In FO4, for me the character creation is REALLY good, it does not even need more sliders and such things, unless you want to go out of the box (and make elves maybe).
At least for me i was succesfully able to create characters the way i want with only replacers for body, skin and tint textures and added makeups, hairs and scars, not sliders.

So, i use Unique NPCs - Overhaul of the Commonwealth and edit myself all the npcs i want to make better. I don't care for the common rabble lol

You can easily do it in game by editing a base copy of the NPC. The changes are permanent.
- help NPCNAME 4;
- find NPC you want to edit, copy it's ID;

- 'player.placeatme ID'. You will be editing a COPY of the NPC, not THE npc;

- stay in the front of the npc, use pipboy light, make sure it is facing you, then 'tc' him/her, it will make sure the NPC won't run away;

- Once you are facing it's face, click on the NPC until you see it's ID (usually followed by [PP] or something like this), then 'slm ID'. It will open character creation;

- Fell like God;

- Save the NPC Copy, 'disable' him/her, then select the real NPC you wanted to edit and 'disable' it too. Close console, open it again and 'enable' the NPC;
- NPC is changed to what you want and will not revert back.

- (optional) using LooksMenu, you can load face presets in the NPCs ;)

It is easy as that. So, a good NPC replacer would be just face presets with mods used... usually hair mods and LMCC.

Here are some NPCs i changed while playing:
