Attack Sensitivity Problem

OK so I can't exactly pinpoint when this started cause I thought I would be able to deal with it, but I'm having a huge problem in my skyrim. As the title says I have a sensitivity problem, if I'm using a 2H weapon or just an 1H weapon and left hand empty I have to click really damn hard on my mouse to attack and 9/10 I end up power attacking. So basically I've lost the ability to use great swords and the like.

Now I do mod my skyrim and I thought that might have been the problem so I uninstalled/deleted every mod I had and re-installed skyrim w/o installing any mods and I still have this problem. Can anyone out there help me?

EDIT: It seems I'm also having this problem with dual-wielding as well. So all I can do is 1H + Magic or 1H + Sheild, so please if anyone has any ideas on how I could possible fix this I would love you forever and ever.

try again with different mouse and another game, if there is no problem with the mouse and another game, maybe there is some script that make your attack unresponsive. (even if you deleted the mod, some script still exist)

what is your papyrus log size? Its better to post it here, so some expert from here can see your problem.(if there is a problem in your script)

its inside log folder in your document/my games/skyrim

and make sure that you're already enabled logging.

by adding this line in skyrim.ini

[Papyrus]

bEnableLogging=1

bEnableTrace=1

bLoadDebugInformation = 1

yes..

then you're gonna have a log folder in your document, play skyrim for 5-15 minutes, then check the folder.

sorry but I'm no expert in this thing, lets hope some expert saw this thread, but from what I can see, its seems that you has a lot mod before this isn't it, you uninstalled it and the mod script still remain in your save.

this is just an advice, can you try to play a new game?

to check if the script problem is the culprit.

Hope this help

I've had this problem too. In my case, it's caused by having animation mods that use FNIS for skyrim 1.6, then patching to skyrim 1.8.

Once I downloaded the new FNIS version, then generate new behavior file, the problem is gone.
