Dag-Raht Race SSE?

I've looked all over and found a few threads but nothing has helped me so far. I recently added the custom race, "Dagi-Raht", for SSE as well as all of its requirements ect. However, I cannot figure out how to get any animations other than "pleasure self" to play. Any animations I try to initiate will result in the target actor to do nothing but move off in the opposite direction, while my camera will shift from 1st person to 3rd as if it were to play the anim, but that is all. I know there is a register custom race spell, but it doesn't seem to be "target player". Any ideas on how i'd go about this? Thanks
