A few weeks later, in the Glen, one of Heywood's subdistricts. Remember Judy's project? She got a lot of eddies out of it and she bought a new condo, better and bigger. The coordinates I entered into my phone pointed to an industrial zone on the eastern edge of Night City, the Arasaka Industrial Park. Perhaps the approach this Goro had chosen to strike at Arasaka? Well, I just had to ask him. Right next to the Arasaka Industrial Park was a construction site with no activity around it. If I wanted to scout the area, that's where I'd start. And if I were to locate Arasaka's former bodyguard, this is surely where he'd be. I circled the main floor, without finding any trace of Takemura. But I had this strange feeling of being watched... Someone grabbed me from behind and put a gun to my neck. "Who are you and who sent you? I can smell corpos when I see one!" "I used to be one called Victoria. A fixer, the best in town, gave me this address. Look, we share a common purpose here!" "Really, what is that goal?" "Arasaka stripped me of everything and left me for dead! Just like they did to you. I want to get them back!" "My apologies. Let me introduce myself properly, I'm Goro Takemura. I'm not seeking vengeance, but justice." And then, through political coups, Saburo died and I'm the one to blame..." "Damn that's harsh... Do you know who are the real culprits behind this mess?" "Several names have emerged, including his son and a handful of high-ranking members of the Arasaka organization. Some of them transit along the industrial zone, hence my presence today." We reached the highest floor of this under-construction building. Takemura pointed to the Arasaka site. Seen from above, it covered a huge part of the industrial zone. I analyzed the entry and exit points and the security measures in force, mostly human guards and a few machines. There was plenty of space to infiltrate the perimeter. "Do you see the AVs parked outside? Travel data are stored in this warehouse. And since you've previously collaborated with Arasaka, high-ranking members move exclusively with these." "Now I can figure out your plan Goro: get the data and hit them straight away. Who was the last passenger to use one of these vehicles?" "Arasaka's current Director of Special Operations, Susan Abernathy. I suspect she helped orchestrate the plot against Saburo."
