[Patch] Sexbound with Straight/Heterosexual NPCs, Neki can be pregnant, and more 1.0.2

Installation & Usage

 

This is a patch file for Starbound mods: "Sexbound-reborn" and "Neki Support". It can make male/female npcs straight/heterosexual, Neki species pregnant, allow only that Player could touch other npcs and more. Don't forget to press follow!

 

How to install:

• Make sure you're using Sexbound Reborn, Neki Support and original mod for Neki species. 
• Download Straight_npcs_sexbound_reborn.zip
• (optional) If you're using custom Neki skins, download the relevant one from Neki Support 
• Unzip the .zip file into \starbound\mods

 

Male NPCs can be straight / heterosexual now 

 

All male NPCs don't start interacting with other males, regardless of number of NPCs in the group.

If you want to change this behavior, set a different value to "/sex/straightNPC" field in "sexbound.config.patch" patch file

 

Female NPCs can be straight / heterosexual now 

 

All female NPCs don't start bonding with other females, unless there is at least one male npc in the group.

If you want to change this behavior, set a different value to "/sex/straightFemaleNPC" field in "sexbound.config.patch" patch file

 

Neki can get pregnant now. 

 

Makes Neki species able to get pregnant in newly created worlds.

If you don't like that, add value 'infertile' into the value list of file "species/neki.species.patch" to make Neki infertile again in new worlds.

 

If you want to get anyone pregnant in sexbound, regardless of this patch, you should have one of the three things:

1) be the same species as the NPC (e.g. you and NPC are Neki)

2) have the variable "enableCompatibleSpeciesOnly" set to 'false' in "sxb_plugin.pregnant.config"

3) if "enableCompatibleSpeciesOnly" is 'true', for whatever race you play as, set the value inside of "compatibleSpecies" of your race to 'all' or 'neki' if you play as a man ( e.g. you play as a human male, then "compatibleSpecies": { "human": "all" } ). If you play as a female and want to get pregnant by Neki ( e.g. you play as a female human, then "compatibleSpecies": { "neki": [ "human" ] },  or as above "compatibleSpecies": { "neki": "all" }) 

 

Incest with parents can be disabled separately now. 

 

Sets if close relationship with parents is allowed, with the default value set to 'false'.

If you want to change this behavior, set a different value to "/behaviour/allowIncestParents" field in "sexbound.config.patch" patch file.

Also 'Stillborn' chance during pregnancy won't increase with closely related NPCs now. But if you want them to suffer, change the value "/incestPenalty" in the "sxb_plugin.pregnant.config.patch" back to 'true'.  

 

Variable "/behaviour/allowIncestParentsForPlayer" sets if relationship with parents is allowed, but only when Player is part of the group with the default value set to 'true'.

 

You can make that only you as a player can touch NPCs, while they can still interact with toys. 

 

Don't like other NPCs touching your waifus? You can change it now!

 

The default value is set to 'false'. Now NPCs starts interacting only when player is part of the group, but they can still interact with toys.

If you want to change this behavior, set a 'true' as a value to "/sex/onlyPlayerCanBeWithNPC" field in "sexbound.config.patch" patch file. This variable overwrites the default behavior of "sex/npcStartSex". 

 

How to change other default values? 

 

If you want to change other default values set by this patch (that have priority over the "sexbound.config" file), you can change the 'value' field in the following patch files: "sexbound.config.patch", "sxb_plugin.pregnant.config.patch", "species/neki.species.patch"

Future Plans

 

I might add the new ability 'sex/marryNPCs' to make Player marry other NPCs using 'rings' or 'certificates', and let Player engage NPCs to other NPCs, so that only the 'married/engaged' group could interact within their group. Only if somebody else doesn't manage to make the said changes before me, and I feel like it XD
