What is CC Suite Pro?

CC Suite Pro is a free and open-source desktop application created to help The Sims 4 players manage large Mods folders.

If your Mods folder contains hundreds or thousands of .package and .ts4script files, keeping everything organized can quickly become a frustrating task.

CC Suite Pro was created to make that process easier.

It can scan your Mods folder, classify content, find duplicates, detect potential conflicts, create backups, install Mods, and help keep your collection organized over time.

🆕 v2.0 Beta "Post Genesis"

This update is a major milestone for the project.

The application has been completely rewritten from Python to C# / .NET 8.0, along with a new interface and a new classification architecture.

The scanner can inspect package resources to improve classification instead of relying exclusively on filenames.

Detect potential conflicts and multiple versions of Mods.

🧹 Junk Cleaner
Identify cache, temporary, empty, and potentially corrupted files.

💾 Backup System
Create ZIP backups before making changes to your Mods folder.

2. Download `CCSuitePro_v2.0_Beta.zip`
3. Extract to any folder
4. Double-click `CCSuitePro.exe`

🔄 Re-Scan & Re-Organize

This is designed to work with existing Mods folders, not just newly downloaded files.

CC Suite Pro can re-scan previously organized files and identify cases where:

• A file may have been misclassified.

• A better category has been detected.

• A file has changed.

• A duplicate has appeared.

• A potential conflict has been introduced.

• A Mod may require review.

Instead of automatically moving everything, the application can show the proposed changes first.

🔎 Duplicate Detection

CC Suite Pro uses hash-based comparison to identify exact duplicate files.

It can show:

• Duplicate locations

• File sizes

• Wasted storage

• Duplicate groups

Files are not automatically deleted without user confirmation.

⚔️ Conflict Detection

The current system can identify potential conflicts involving:

• Multiple versions of the same Mod

• Package files

• Script files

• Potential cross-format relationships

More advanced resource-level conflict analysis is planned for future versions.

🧹 Junk Cleaner

The cleaner can identify:

• Cache files

• Empty files

• Temporary files

• Potentially corrupted packages

Detected files can be reviewed before removal.

💾 Backup System

Before performing potentially destructive operations, CC Suite Pro can create a ZIP backup of your Mods folder.

This gives you a way to restore your previous organization if something doesn't go as expected.

❓ Why did I make this?

I started this project because my own Mods folder became increasingly difficult to manage.

After downloading hundreds and eventually thousands of files, I found myself repeatedly doing the same things:

Download → rename → sort → search for duplicates → check conflicts → reorganize → repeat.

I started wondering:

Why isn't there a tool that can simply do this for us?

That question eventually became CC Suite Pro.

The goal isn't to replace the amazing tools and Mods already created by the Sims community.

The goal is simply to make managing all of them easier.
