The Knights Of The Brothel - English Translation 1.3

Brothel Knights Order — English Translation v1.3

==============================================

A full English translation for the "Brothel Knights Order" CK3 mod

(Chinese → English).

REQUIREMENTS

------------

- Crusader Kings III (1.19.*; compatible with 1.20+)

- The original "Brothel Knights Order" mod (Steam Workshop ID: 3392147704)

  https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3392147704

This translation is an ADD-ON. It does not include the original mod's content.

Subscribe to / install the original first — it is the game you are translating.

INSTALLATION

------------

1. Download the original "Brothel Knights Order" mod from Steam Workshop.

2. Extract this translation mod so the folder and the .mod file land here:

   Windows:

     Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\mod\

   Linux (native):

     ~/.local/share/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings III/mod/

Steam Deck / Proton (Windows path the game reads):

     <SteamLibrary>/steamapps/compatdata/1158310/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/

     Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings III/mod/

You should end up with both:

     Brothel Knights Order English Translation.mod

Brothel Knights Order English Translation/  (folder)

3. In the CK3 launcher, enable BOTH mods:

   - "Brothel Knights Order" (original)

   - "Brothel Knights Order English Translation" (this one)

4. Load order matters — the ORIGINAL mod must load first; put the translation

AFTER it in the playset so the translation wins when both define text.

GETTING STARTED (the initial decisions)

----------------------------------------

- Brothel Knights Order does NOT start from a character-selection menu. It

kicks off from a major DECISION, "A Nation of Brothel Knights?" — take it on

  your ruler to begin.

- The founding menu picks who you are. The two routes split at the "rescue

  her" options:

D "It's me"      — play as the heroine / Grand Master (adult FEMALE settled

ruler; you become an 18-year-old Grand Master with your

                       own dynasty)

F "I intend to rescue this fallen princess" — you become the rescuer → the

Papal line (you become the Pope)

C                — you stay a normal male lord as the patron → the

                       Apostle / pure-love line

- Then, in the "Besides the Order..." screen, pick "I took a courtesan knight

from the Brothel Knight Order" (Option A) to begin the companion bond arc.

CONTENTS

--------

- Complete English localization for the entire mod: events, decisions, traits,

titles, religions, holy orders, men-at-arms, modifiers, effects, perks,

court positions, death reasons, character memories, game rules, and more.

- 23 localization files (4,025 source keys / 4,121 English entries).

- Synced to the current Workshop build (2026-10-17).

CHANGELOG

---------

v1.3 (2026-10-17)

- Added 97 new keys from the October 17 Workshop build:

  Princess Fiona's Milk artifact + the milk-giving/secreted-milk events;

the new Apostle-Awakening / Revelation storyline arc (Mary Magdalene and the

four demon sisters who pass as "Sister Patty"); the "Gongzhu" splinter faith

  with its 5 holy orders, house and holy site; the Demon Nun Commander men-at-arms;

the milk-drained / obtained-milk modifiers; new decisions (Visit Princess

Dairy, New Leader); new titles (Jerusalem Empire, Princess Dairy, Dragon Vein,

and the Gongzhu dukedoms); the Demon Princess / Head-Nun traits; and the

  dairy-critic event and death-message key.

- Re-translated 22 keys whose Chinese meaning changed since the last version

(etiquette-leader wording, holy order renames, the Pope's succession rework,

demon-blood "reduces courtesan-knight fading", milk "delicious and

addictive", balance tweak "fifteen → ten knight orders").

- Verified: 0 missing keys, 0 empty entries, 0 leaked Chinese; all files

UTF-8 with BOM; CK3 Tiger validation clean (only benign parent-mod warnings).

v1.2 / v1.2.1 (2026-10-15)

- Synced to the October 14 Workshop build: 183 new keys, ~147 re-meant keys

  re-translated (Jun→Oct renumbering pass).

- Fixed the deployed-game copy so in-game text matched (pfx vs native).

v1.1 (2026-09-14)

- Initial release: full English translation of the mod.

NOTES

-----

- The "Eternal Seven Treasures" court-position content requires the Courts &

Titles DLC; without it the related file simply isn't loaded.

- Keep the original mod updated — this translation follows the latest build.

ABOUT THE ORIGINAL MOD

----------------------

Brothel Knights Order is a total-conversion CK3 mod centered on a prostitute-

nation founded by a young princess. It blends religion, sex work, and

militarism into a unique gameplay experience. All original content, art, and

scripting belong to the original author; this pack adds translation only.
