What this mod does

This mod replaces the vanilla "I submit. Take me to jail." arrest outcome with a Public Whore sentence.

When you choose the jail option during a guard arrest, the guard will inform you that you must work off your bounty as a Public Whore instead. The mod then:

• Starts Public Whore in Enforced Mode.

• Sets the Public Whore quota based on your current bounty.

• Clears your bounty after the sentence begins.

• Teleports you inside the city if you were arrested outside a walled city.

Paying your bounty and resisting arrest remain unchanged.

Voicelines

The replacement guard dialogue is fully voiced using xVASynth.

The voice lines are included with the mod for all relevant guard voice types.

Public Whore MCM Configuration (Important)

This mod does not include its own MCM. All settings mentioned below can be found in the existing Public Whore MCM.

This mod calculates the Public Whore quota from your bounty value.

Quota Mode: Set this to Money.

If Quota Mode is set to Clients, each gold of bounty will count as one required client, resulting in extremely high quotas.

Because this mod starts Public Whore in Enforced Mode, Public Whore's Enforced Mode quota multiplier will also apply. If you want the quota to match your bounty exactly, set the Enforced Mode multiplier to 1.0x.

The number of clients required depends on how much gold each client is worth. This can be configured in the Public Whore MCM and is left entirely to player preference.

Important Note

This mod uses the PW_MakePublicWhoreAdvanced ModEvent because it is the only Public Whore API event that allows the quota to be set directly.

As a result:

• The normal Public Whore introduction sequence is skipped.

• The Public Whore SlaveTat is not applied automatically.

• The quota is correctly based on your bounty.

I considered the quota functionality more important than the automatic SlaveTat application.

Special Cases

Cidhna Mine

This mod should not interfere with The Forsworn Conspiracy / No One Escapes Cidhna Mine.

During the Cidhna Mine arrest sequence, vanilla behavior should occur and you will be sent to Cidhna Mine as normal.

Raven Rock

This mod does not affect arrests in Raven Rock. Raven Rock uses a separate arrest dialogue path and will continue to send the player to jail normally.

Compatibility

This mod edits the vanilla guard arrest dialogue.

Mods that replace or remove the vanilla guard arrest dialogue may be incompatible.

Because this mod prevents normal jail sentences throughout Skyrim, mods that rely on the player being sent to jail may not function as intended.

Requirements

Public Whore and all of its requirements.

Supported Versions

The mod was created and tested on Skyrim SE 1.5.97. It will likely work on Anniversary Edition as well, but I have not tested it.

Skyrim LE compatibility is unknown and has not been tested.

Possible Future Additions

I might add a fomod that lets you choose between 2 different scripts.

• The first would be the original script that makes you a Public Whore is enforced mode and sets the quota based on your bounty.
• The second one would be a script that starts Public Whore like normal, triggering the introduction sequence. The limitation with this approach would be that i can't set the quota, so it would be randomly set according to your PW MCM settings.
