A series of mechanical frameworks based around sleeping/dreaming/etc.
Dreaming
In the elder scrolls, when mortals sleep their minds actually wander through the realm called the dreamsleeve. Sleeping with high alteration skill and/or active alteration buffs from alchemy/enchanting etc. can result in a lucid dream, which restores Ego. Assorted conditions and situations will interfere with dreaming, resulting in a range of nightmares.
Parasitic Hypnagogia
You are not the only thing in the Dreamsleeve, dream too far from reality and you might find something horrible and incomprehensible. Lucid dreaming too regularly without a sufficiently high illusion skill and/or illusion buffs to protect yourself might result in...SOMETHING happening causing de/buffs to spellcasting, new alteration spells and the ability to immersively reload to your most recent (non-disrupted) dream on death. The magnitude of these de/buffs and number of spells increases as your Ego drops, but if it drops too low you will get a game-over. Can be cured if something else gets a tighter grip of your soul. SHOULD be compatible with mods like defeat that prevent death, or mods like player death aftermath that "detour" death using the ondying() event, but no guarantees that it will work with anything.
Oneirosiphoning
If Vaermina can steal dreams, why not you? Complete 2 short quests for a new NPC in the ragged flagon to unlock the ability to project yourself into other's (wet) dreams to drain their energy to raise your magicka. Oneirosiphoning any form of oneirotic target is not recommended. This IS fully compatible with other succubus mods, so you can slap it on top of your favourite to expand your experience with the original classical succubus trope.
Urges
Everyone gets cravings and urges, with those urges getting darker and more insistent for those with a weak ego who struggle to integrate their shadow. Adds a constant minor quest that requires the player to increment specific game stats, as a means to provide impetus for varied roleplay and gameplay. The lower your ego, the more likely it will require a crime stat. Failure to do so results in a slow ego decline (though never to 0) while fulfilling them by incrementing the stats high enough results in a moderate ego boost.
Vaermina Experimentation
The cultists in Nightcaller Temple were not sitting idly by, while most was lost in the Orc raid some remains. 3 new spells (to detect sleepers, to invoke the skull of corruption effect via magicka instead of enchanting charge, dream on command) and Nightmarish rings that function as limited capacity skull of corruptions to complement them.
Solstheim Sleepwalking
While your body is mindlessly working on Miraak's great works, the Reavers of Solstheim are more than happy to take advantage. Get raped while sleepwalking on solstheim, with a variety of soft-integrated consequences ranging from sexlab stats to apropos wear and tear to hentai pregnancy impregnation etc. etc. Does essentially the same thing as the similar feature in dealing with sexual daedra, but more polished, so there is a patch in the downloads that buries DwSD's version behind a condition that oneirosis isn't installed. Be aware that this required overriding the vanilla DLC2PillarScript script. Great care was taken to ensure all changes are soft-integrated, so even if the script is orphaned by disabling the Oneirosis esp it SHOULD still work fine PROVIDED that SKSE is still installed, but delete the loose script if something goes wrong so that it will default back to the original inside the dragonborn bsa.
Skaal Amulet
Frea's amulet protects her from all Miraak's influence over the dreams of the island's residents, some of the ancient skaal in their icy tombs were buried with similar amulets. Has an assortment of effects, both protective and restrictive, on almost all aspects of the mod while worn.
Cutscenes
Adds cutscenes to all dreams and oneirosiphoning events. Female character only.
Main Menu Replacer (optional, standalone)
Replacer for the main menu image with pov of being oneirosiphoned and the music replaced with a ~7min30 ASMR/JOI, both in the style used for the ingame oneirosiphon feeding events. Comes packed with alternate images A) using the player dream-self colours and B) a more conventional "demonic" succubus.
Loadscreen Replacer (optional, standalone)
84 loadscreens of other Hypnagogia victims who have met their ultimate unfortunate Ego-death end, with 42 pairs of loadscreen tooltips for all the oneirosis mechanics and lore. Tooltips:
Some of the Ehlnofey sought survival in forms far more abstract than biology
Ideas, intentions, habits and other abstract patterns of thought can shape the Dreamsleeve just as tools can shape the waking world. Symbolism, self-image and expectations can have major consequences
It takes a great and constant force of will to maintain an independent sense of self (Ego) while adrift in the Dreamsleeve, let alone when being actively pulled deep
A mind with its will and Ego stripped of it, like this one, is a valuable vessel for an ill intentioned force to "breed" thoughts, ideas, perceptions and other constructs of the mind with
The barrier between the dreamsleeve and the waking world is thinner than you think. A mind losing grip with reality can find their dreams affecting the world and the world affecting their dreams
Many things can happen when your mind drifts into dream. Not all of them pleasant
Sleeping with a high Alteration skill and/or active Alteration power modifiers like potions can result in a lucid dream
Illusion and/or Alteration power modifiers only need to be active when you first fall asleep to affect your dreams
Elgrim has been selling potions to help the less fortunate residents of Riften reach the escapism of lucid dreaming
Lucidity while dreaming can allow your mind to travel far from the anchor of the material world into the more chaotic and ephemeral areas of the Dreamsleeve, dangerously far
Having a lucid dream while sufficiently aroused can allow you to reach a nocturnal emission
Foolish mortals whose souls are claimed by the daedra will visit their patron's realm instead of the dreamsleeve each night, and upon death
The ancient skaal had lost techniques for creating protective amulets which protected the wearer's mind from the dangers of dreaming
An ancient evil force is influencing the inhabitants of Solstheim through suggestions in their dreams, a threat last seen from Dagoth Ur
The bandits and reavers of Solstheim will happily take advantage of any attractive hapless sleepwalkers
Rumors say that a heretic of Vaermina's cult fled to the Thieves Guild in Riften and has been stealing residents' dreams along with their septims
The powerful symbolism of sexual intercourse, specifically the release of life force at its conclusion, is a simple and effective means to Oneirosiphon power from dreaming men
Oneirosiphoning is disruptive enough that it can only be done once a night
Males will need a decent time to recharge their energies after being oneirosiphoned, but teasing and denial can make that faster
Attempting to oneirosiphon women will not yield any measurable effects, but it can still be fun
Attempting to oneirosiphon a target suffering any form of Oneirosis, such as Vampires, is unlikely to end well
Stolen dreams may empower you in the short term, but the withdrawal will be unpleasant
Vaermina covets and hoards dreams for the potent magical potential they hold, but despite her best efforts she does not have a monopoly on them
Legends say the Nightcaller Temple overlooking Dawnstar was the site of evil experiments into new means of manipulating dreams and nightmares
Nightmarish rings are a passably successful attempt to replicate the abilities of the Skull of Corruption
Not all the evil spell texts were destroyed in the fire that ravaged the Nightcaller Temple library
Beware lucid dreaming without a high Illusion skill and/or active Illusion power modifiers like potions, you are not the only thing in the Dreamsleeve
Some people wake from dreams containing particularly powerful inspirations to find they understand much of the deeper truths of reality and magic
Some people wake from dreams containing particularly horrific revelations to find their mind assaulted by alien thoughts, doubts, impulses and perspectives
Time and causality are more flexible in the Dreamsleeve. Lingering prophetic glimpses, or perhaps fragments of collapsed once-possible futures, can sometimes be grasped upon waking
While at times frustratingly limiting, the physical body serves a critical role in providing stasis and stability to the infinite chaotic raw potential of an unbound soul
When the body dies the soul is cast into the Dreamsleeve with no achor, to drift until it forgets all it was and eventually finds a new host. Assuming it isn't snared by a daedra or other such fate
An unbound soul with sufficient familiarity of navigating the Dreamsleeve, a strong enough Ego and a great deal of luck could potentially find their way back to their own body from when they last dreamed
Self actualisation from short periods of healthy lucid dreaming or through satisfaction of certain urges can help reinforce a faltering Ego
Urges will not subside they are satisfied, only grow more insistent. Repression is not a long term solution
The more fragile a person's Ego, the more likely their Urges will be maladaptive instead of healthy
Take care when Oneirosiphoning, it takes some time and if you are detected it will be viewed as an assault
Nightmares are as damaging for the Ego as a lucid dream is nourishing, with both dependent on sleep duration
Having the emotional and psychological maturity of a high Ego will make you more likable, while the opposite is true for those with low ego
Poor self actualisation from unmet urges and invasive Daedric nightmares will shatter your Ego
Even the most poorly maintained Ego will never decay to Ego-death, unless affected by certain outside forces
The nightmares in Dawnstar affect locals, but not travellers. Best not to stay too many nights in a row

What's New in Version 1.1.3
Released
1.1.3
-reworked the hpnagogia spells for a cleaner backend and to promote more diverse playstyle utility (fully backwards compatible):
--you now have all 3 at all levels but as your hypnagogia level gets more severe, the spells gain increased magnitude
--the hypnagogia spells are now all standardised/magnituded balanced at novice alteration
--the spell descriptions needed to lose their detailed magnitudes etc. due to the way skyrim (doesnt) handle condition locked effects in the concatenated descriptions
--mindblast: 15 dmg + 30% chance of 0.5 stagger * level
--derealise: 80 armor + 25% stagger resist * level for 3 seconds
--reframe: +0.5 imod contrast/brightness/saturation * level for 30 seconds
--the hypnagogia passive buffs now also converts a small amount of magicka to health automatically when below 50% at level 1, also gives 80%/40% disease/poison resistance at level 2 and also (soft int) temporarily blocks HP pregnancy/pauses RND needs/flags you DWB immortal at level 3
-fixed an edgecase bug where unmet urges could ego-death you
-made assorted minor tweaks to the alternate perspective starts
-fixed a bug with the aroused+lucid+tier3hypnagogic dream cutscenes
1.1.2
-added a variant alt-start in riverwood, having fled from southfringe sanctum with an alteration fortification ring and the fire rune spell (and an assortment of sexual degeneracy)
-made lucid dreaming require a minimum of 4 hours sleep, so you can't "fish for it" and also have a means of dodging hypnagogia contraction through sleep deprivation/apnea
-removed the 5% chance for non-consecutive lucid dreaming to result in contraction
-added a 0.1 second papyrus wait before all cutscenes so they SHOULDN'T be able to fire while in menus etc. (eg. for survival mode level up)
-added dialogue to mercer at the start of the Scoundrel's Folly quest to abort the main thieves guild questline (for if you want the modified armor but dont want the questline stuck in your log or to sell your soul etc.)
-added a safety check for the book urge since it isnt an infinite stat
-the game over popup warning message now explicitly says "game over"
-fixed the screen fading back in and the controls reenabling during the gameover loop if left running long enough
-made some of the urge objectives more clear (eg. the crafting urge now hints at the fact cooking and tempering count)
1.1.1
-redid the maths for alteration lucid dreaming and illusion dodge chance: reverted the buff to alteration/illusionpowermod, added the value of alteration/illusionMOD (ie. enchantments that reduce spell cost and the hypnagogia casting buff, thereby providing a "catchup" mechanism where lower ego means higher chance to recover some) and then changed the formula from the exponential ((value^2)/100)% to a very boring but predictable linear value%. additionally changed the hypnagogia contraction dream chance to an extra 5% chance at all times (incidentally fixing a bug where it was subtracting 1 too many from the streak in the process) eg. if you have 50 alteration/illusion you have a 50/25/12.5/6.25/etc% chance to get 1/2/3/4/etc. lucid dreams in a row with the (5 + (50*(lucidstreak-1)))% hypnagogia contraction formula giving a 5/55/100/100% chance to roll an event, and then a 50% chance to dodge the event roll. This comes out to a chance to contract it in a given lucid dreaming streak (resetting when you have any other kind of dream) of 1.25/6.875/6.25/3.125/1.5625% at 50alt/50illu (ie. balanced midgame mage), 1.7/7.48/5.44/2.176/0.8704% at 40alt/15illu (vivid dream potion on a muggle), 0.6375/1.051875/0.286875/0.04303125/0.006454688% at 15alt/15illu (muggle) and 0/0/0/0/0 at 100alt/100illu (balanced archmage). This means it is now much more common in the low end than it used to be but still not oppressively common and with low illusion skill being relatively far stronger as a shield so as not to punish mage players, provided they study their schools in balance instead of going moria-deep into alteration alone. Also has the side effect of nocturnal emissions being more regular, but not truly reliable, for low end characters
-dodging a hypnagogia contraction now resets your lucid dream streak count
-reworked the chance of the sleepwalking event to account for the increased illusion protection and to introduce additional randomness, new formula is base 20% per corrupted stone followed by a standard illusion based dodge roll
-reduced the casting windup for mind over matter, added stagger resist and doubled cost/mag to raise the skill ceiling through "timed blocking", renamed to Force of Will
-removed the right-hand-only restriction from waking nightmare
-replaced the base food urge with a total lifetime bounty increase as it didnt really fit the theme of self-actualisation. SHOULD be safe to hotswap even if you currently have the food urge but probably better not to
-tweaked the altstart sex stats calculations and added a 5th stats category
-added several purely roleplay "(Optional)" objectives to the altstart
-removed a few extraneous "extends quest" declarations from the softext scripts to be safe, though it was probably harmless
1.1.0
-updated the loadscreen pack: le compatibility fix, descuffed images, 12 new loadscreens and some new+updated tooltips
-updated the main menu replacer: descuffed the images, tweaked the script to better reflect the ingame mechanics, fixed the audio levels, standardised tone/etc.
-fixed le compatibility
-fleshed out the alternate perspective start, including adding the ability to (soft-int, whichever relevant) pre-generate sexlab stats and start with certain tattoos or device devices based on prompt choices
-added the new "astral projection" spell to nightcaller temple, which induces a dream (NOT sleep) on command
-doubled the effect illusion/alterationpowermod has, relative to base skill, on dreaming
-moved the core dreaming frameworks from events into functions so that, among other things, they can be called externally by other mods or whatever
-fixed urges being able to roll outside of the index
-added an option to the debug manager which toggle kills/restarts the ego quest
-moved the urges initialisation to its own manager quest for simplicity
-increased urge satisfaction check frequency to every half hour
-urge dissatisfaction prompt and ego loss now only happens once a day, but costs 5 times as much ego
-having low/high ego now also gives a 10 point speech de/buff so it has meaningful relevance outside hypnagogia
-non hypnagogic ego decay floor is now 25 instead of 34
-having a daedric nightmare or hypnagogia contraction dream now costs ego
-ego gains from lucid dreams and losses from nightmares is now dependent on how long the sleep in question was (half rounded up)
-moved jullene to the ragged flagon so she isn't gatekept behind the thieves guild quests. you still obviously need to join the guild to make use of her armor modification service
-made it more obvious the armor modification was for thieves guild armor
-flagged her protected so she can only die by your hand
-oneirosiphoning now counts as assault if you are detected (eg. by a spouse sleeping next to them)
-deviously belted dreams now also require the player to be aroused, though less aroused than the standard aroused dreams
-sleeping in dawnstar for 3 or more nights now renders you victim to the nightmares
-fixed a bug when the oneirosiphon tease option broke the timescale
-oneirosiphoning now takes about an hour
-added a throwaway roleplay pointer note to nightcaller temple that directs you to jullene
-fixed a potential bug in the sleepwalking event from non-english localisations of sexlab
-fixed a bug with fragile ego upgrading to wavering ego when it shouldnt be
1.0.3
-but like for realsies this time
1.0.2
-fixed an oversight where player controls were not renenabled after some dream categories
1.0.1
-fixed a potentially disastrous oopsie daisy with the sla soft integration not being properly soft
-split the cutscenes out of the scripts/esp download
-fixed the magnitude in the oneirosiphon debug tooltip
-nerfed derealise
-jullene now gets the amulet after you hand it in, instead of disappearing
-using the alternate amulete handing to Jullene now removes it from your inventory
-player now gets an orgasm and arousal spike on the hypnagogia contraction dream
-added a short wait to succubus decay calculation to stop it trying to execute while player is in menu
-player is now stripped (to inventory) and has their gold stolen (forever) if raped while sleepwalking
-player gets vaginal count if sleepraped while not chastity belted (ie. can internally deflower the character)
-sleeprape now has a chance to happen based on your illusion skill/power and the number of corrupted stones, rather than being certain
-fixed an edge case where the player could get sleepraped in their bed between cleansing the last stone and finishing the stone manager quest
-doubled the completion requirement for the tasks urge but it now also counts miscellaneous objectives
-the starting urge is now to complete tasks instead of clear dungeons
-added a placeholder objective for urge downtime
-increased urge frequency
-player controls are now disabled when waking until all the scripts are finished
-tweaked some flavour text in various places
-increased the ego cost of death
-massively increased the value of the alteration potion recipe so getting caught stealing it has consequences
-fixed hypnagogia contraction dreams sometimes showing the normal waking popup
Which files to use
The _main file and the offsite mega link are mandatory, the loadscreen and menu replacer files are optional and/or standalone, the patch is for dealing with sexual daedra.
Requirements
The only hard requirement is SKSE. Major soft-integration with sexlab aroused (especially when also used with devious devices) as both Oneriosiphoning and Lucid Dreaming can trigger hands-free orgasms. Has an alternate perspective start, with its own soft integration with sexlab to pre-generate sex diary stats based on starting choices and slavetats/dd for certain choices. Provides a means to trigger "immortality" for dealing with backstories revived. Assorted much lesser soft-integration, mostly during the sleepwalking event or when casting "derealise" spell.
"Can you add soft-integration for [framework variant] or [mod]?"
Give me the relevant script fragment that will do it in a soft-dependent manner and I will slot it into the right place (without testing), otherwise the answer is no.
Note on cutscenes
This mod makes extensive use of the neglected red-headed stepchild that is the playbink() function. Bethesda barely got it working in the first place (eg. trying to take a steam screenshot of a cutscene will cause skyrim to freeze) and basically gave this function no support across some versions, especially VR. Before you dig into the mod you may want to console yourself the "onedebugcut" spell and run the "quicktest" option.
Note on LE/SE
I deliberately used the old LE nifscope and ext1 dds formats along with form43 on the esp (no form44 relevant forms were used inside it) so that it is natively compatible with both versions out of the box.
