INSTALLATION:
Â
1. Put the folder meltyb_HironeCharacterMod in your data directory.
2. In-game in Loadout, import her character card 'hirone_export.png' into one of your recruit/roster units. Or put her card in /base/_versus_mode/random_char_cards and wait for her to show up in Exhibition (around Level 24+).

BE WARNED! Importing her character card without installing the mod folder may result in glitches!

MOVELIST:

Hirone's Hitachi: Hirone's card comes equipped with a unique massager weapon that has a: 4 hit basic attack combo that ends in a grab, dash attack, and cannot be dropped by being hit. But because it's built for combat, it's lost its vibration, so you can't use the regular vibrator grab on it.
Jump Slash: A+D Skill. Lunges forward and strikes.
Stop Resisting: W+D Skill. Basically the existing Low Sweep Kick, but you can press ATTACK x3 afterwards to follow it up with strikes to the ground.
Hirone-style Spear: S+D Skill. SPEAAAAAAAAAAAAR. This covers a lot of distance, is unblockable and unparriable (as a grab), but can be evaded and has bad sidestep tracking.

LORE:

Hirone is a fighter in Passion Vendetta. Don't mistake her for Akiha Maeba just because they both have red eyes and black hair, especially because Hirone LOVES sexfighting.Â

A laugh that probably belongs on a cat, an obscene love for yuri and the same sex, and baton police techniques that she uses with a reinforced massager vibrator that Hirone SOMEHOW keeps on sneaking into her matches, makes for... a low-tier fighter in the organization. Apparently she's not very motivated enough to try and win. But when Hirone does try to win, expect to see a lot more physicality and authority-style roughness from the normally nyaha-ing gremlin.

wanted to try my hand at making a weapon-based moveset (sort of) and more side characters for the lore

as her lore implies hirone is a low-tier fighter which is reflected in the way she loses a lot (and lost a lot in testing) due to: 1) not having a wakeup attack on her weapon, a weakness inherent to all weapons 2) weapon ai being weird 3) her skills having weak tracking, which is intended as a weakness 4) very bad level up build

as i feared, enemies getting randomized weapons depend on the weapon having an item grab instead of a variable not allowing the weapon to be set as a random item for enemies or something

sadly I have nerfed hirone's weapon as a result of that. set the "enabled" variable to true under "itemGrab" in item_datas_weapon_templates_hirone.json if you want to buff hirone and allow her to use the item's unique vibrator grab but at the cost of seeing her weapon on random enemies!
