EROS – Dice Roll System
EROS is an attribute and skill-check -system that I've developed which should be compatible with most usermade content regardless of genre and setting. What follows is a detailed explanation of how the system works.

- To get stats for your character, you have to use one of two methods:
- METHOD 1: roll a 10-sided dice twice for each attribute and then write down your results. Getting an even or uneven number on the first dice roll determines whether the second dice roll is a positive or negative score. For instance, if you get an uneven first roll and then a 6 on the second roll while determining your AWARENESS score, it would mean that your character's AWARENESS score is -6.
- METHOD 2: roll a 10-sided dice as many times as there are attributes in total and then write down your results. For illustrative purposes, let’s say you got a 10, 8, 6, 5, 5, 3, 3, 2, 2, and a 1. Next, you assign each score you got to a different attribute. The choice of which score should go with which attribute is up to you, but the highest score you get is always a negative score, the second highest score you get is always a positive score, and so on. For instance, let's say you decide to assign the 10 you got to your FINESS score. That would make your FINESS score -10.
- Regardless of which method you used, you should use a 20-sided dice once you’re actually playing. You’ll need to apply the relevant attribute scores to the skill checks you make. For instance, let's say you've just made an AWARENESS skill check and got an 8. If your character's AWARENESS score is -6, you would need to detract 6 from the score you got while making the skill check, meaning you actually got a 2.

- Trick or convince someone by verbal means
A successful FINESS skill check is required in order to

A successful INTELLIGENCE skill check is required in order to

- Understand an obscure euphemism or the meaning behind a cryptic message
A successful REFLEX skill check is required in order to

- Dodge, parry, or block an incoming attack

- Tuck something away without being caught in the act
A successful SEX APPEAL skill check is required in order to

If your character is dyslexic, READING becomes a skill check too.
If your character is so bad at swimming that they might drown, SWIMMING also becomes a skill check.

: If you are still using FlowGPT instead of SillyTavern or an approximate tool with LLM integration, you can add the following information to the very tail end of the internal memory or context window. It needs to come after everything else.

Getting less than 10 on a dice roll is a failure. Getting more than 10 is a success. Getting 20 is a critical success. Getting 1 is a critical failure.
