Our weekend was incredibly good. Davor and Sandra called us from Ireland and they said they are thrilled with country and people. Of course, they also had few cultural shocks because everything is different from our country. They said that Irish people are more honest than our people. They started to think to stay and never return if everything goes well. We wished them luck and happiness.
All family gathered at our house for lunch and cookies. Our moms didn’t want us to do anything. They cooked all the meals. Even my Prince was spared from cooking. They wanted him to take care for me and my needs which he didn’t find hard to do it because he loves to serve me and my Ivy and help us. Last few days were incredibly warm for this part of year and my Prince already started swimming season while my Ivy, me and little one were taking sun tan. We had excellent sex on the beach just like in Saturday. The rest of the day was peaceful and in family atmosphere. Both of my luvs payed attention to me and to each other, of course. Fran was little bit sad for he is alone, have no boyfriend. Since the day he and Tibor broke up, he didn’t have new relationship, although he needs someone. My Prince successfully comforted him. He took him to our café, had juice and talked. My Fran returned more cheerful afterwards. I showered my Prince with kisses and “love yous” afterwards thanking him for being wonderful friend to my Fran.
Unlike excellent weekend, working week wasn’t so great. I’m not talking about problems at the work that were minor and easy to solve. I’m talking about Carnival groups that rampaged through the city, mostly drunk, playing loud music and some of them provoked pedestrians last seven days of the carnival. Again, my Prince hates carnival for various reason but mainly because it brings more chaos than fun. Traffic jams are “normal” in that period, getting to the work is hard because the city authorities changed public transportation routes, closing some streets for carnival parades redirecting routes. In one word: big mess, angry people and nervous drivers. The worse part of the carnival is groups that doesn’t respect the routes the city gave them for parade. They drive all over the city, making noise, shouting, throwing firecrackers, insulting people and fight against each other. Every day and night our city echoed from police and paramedics’ sirens. Those carnival vandals fought few nights near our house too. My Prince worked hard to control his temper because it pissed him off very much. My Ivy told me that he wanted to get out of the car few times and kick some asses when some drivers took his advantage jeopardizing theirs and other people’s life, but he sustained. When she asked him what makes him to keep his temper under control, he answered:
- *Damn LL friends … Trilog and Jayomms. (*The word wasn’t use in negative context). You know how Princess always write about such things in her diaries. I could see their disapproval and lecturing …... I like those guys and their opinions means to me. That’s why it helped me to control my rage …… Crazy witch ….. why does she always have to …… never mind ….. it’s her thing that she loves to do and I respect that.
I laughed hard when my Ivy told me that. My Prince knows that my diaries are my “second” whole world and he respect that no matter how much he doesn’t like it sometimes. And you, Trilog and Jayomms knows now how much my Prince likes you and respect you if he didn’t fight this week. But, instead of fighting he did one merciful deed. Going to the meeting with business partner, my Prince and Ivy waited for green light on one intersection. My Ivy told me they saw a group of masked people walking slowly, cheering, dancing, laughing and goofing. Behind them was an old man walking using the walking sticks. He wanted to catch the buss that just arrived at the bus station but he couldn’t since everyone from the group ignored him and he couldn’t pass them. So, as soon my Prince got the green light he stopped at the side of the road and offered a ride to old man. Well, he was going to the hospital on the other side of the city that will make them very late on the meeting. My Prince said to Ivy to call the chairman and excuse them for being late. He drove the man to the hospital. During the driving he found out that the man is unemployed and receives social checks. When they arrived to the hospital, my Prince gave him the money for taxi and extra hundred kuna for groceries. Listening to this story I cried. There is nothing new about Prince’s big heart for he always helps anyone. I was just touched again because helping the people is more important to him than money he earned on the meeting he was late to. Our business partners knows that my Prince is NEVER late and if he is, he has justified reason and nobody questioned him about it.
Our working week was mostly focused on Woman’s day and preparation for farewell party for Boss who goes in full retirement at the end of the month. On that day I will be appointed as hotel manager and my Fran as my first assistant and acting hotel manager since I’m also going on maternity leave that very day. We all had couple of business meetings that went very well too. My Fran learned a lot about hotel managing and he is still learning. Vinko’s wife didn’t stop stalking my Prince, but she did it from the distance. Wonder how long it will keep holding her more.
I worked only till 9.00 today. One hour. My restless little one made me sore, nervous, going to toilet and nauseous most of the time. My Prince let my Ivy to drive me home while he stayed at the work. He’ll come home soon too. When we arrived home, my Ivy gave me very good hot tub and massage. We made love too and now I’m enjoying sitting in her lap. She is cuddling my belly and kissing my neck just like my Prince while I’m finishing this diary.
