Linda wasn't looking for that bathroom. She was looking for a moment of quiet. But the door was ajar, and inside someone was breathing softly, in the dark.
She shouldn't have gone in. She shouldn't have stayed.
And yet she's still there, the veil slipping off her shoulder, her heart beating too fast. He doesn't speak. Neither does she. The space is so tight she feels the heat of his body before she even touches him.
There's a moment, before anything happens, when everything could still stop. Linda knows it. But she doesn't move.
And maybe that's exactly what excites her most.
