Entry 1 - Officially a student at Metro City University

"Well, after spending all weekend moving into my dorm I can sit back, relax, and take it all in. I'm finally living the college life! It feels all surreal. I've never been much of a city guy - coming from the suburbs of a small state to a place as large and populated as Metro City is going to take some time to get used to, but I'm excited for the experience. MCU offers a robust undergrad course in Criminology, and with the current rise of the different street gangs here in the city there will be plenty for me to learn that'll help me reach my goal of being a defense lawyer. There's also a fight club here that I learned about awhile back that I'm interested in checking out. I love to spar, but I won't be partaking in the bouts here. They are a bit a lot more serious than the schoolyard scraps I used to get into back in my small town, but I still love the thrill of the competition and watching others. I heard the best street fighter here in Metro City is named Joe, and he's scheduled to have a bout soon with some dude from overseas named Ryu. Apparently, this Ryu is the best in all of Japan, so this ought to be a good fight. I mean, you'd think the guy has to be a serious fighter if he's willing to fly overseas just to have an underground brawl. I guess this street fighting thing has a much larger reach than I initially imagined."
