Fear death? Not. (Mortimer´s new mortician Linda)
Mortimer had to fire the mortician because he discovered serious irregularities that could have jeopardized the trust of his clients. And since it is difficult to find someone who is not afraid of death these days, he had to manage the management and work in the embalming room himself for a long time. Dirk, who helped him here and there in the company, advised him: "Place an ad saying that you are looking for a nurse, to whom you offer a retraining course and interesting working conditions. Women are more careful in this. And they have more empathy..." Mortimer liked the idea. Linda called him. When he first saw her, he knew that Dirk was right. "What a modest woman..." he thought.
She was very well-groomed, nicely dressed and she gave off a great sense of interest. Linda told Mortimer that she had just gotten divorced and needed to find a place to live. But Mortimer had a small apartment that no one was using at the moment and that it would be perfect for this woman. He went to show her around and she was delighted with how tastefully decorated it was. "The apartment has everything you need to live on a high level. Of course, consider it part of the salary. I won't ask you for rent." Mortimer knew that divorce wasn't a cheap matter.
