Woke up yesterday from a short but very deep slumber.  Deep sleep is healthy sleep.

Raising like the proverbial zombie and sitting on the edge of my bed, I could hear the morning news screech around 8:30.

Then the anchorman gave his announcement.  Singer and heavy metal enthusiast, Ozzy Osborne passed away at the 76.

"Holy sh-t!  He got his wings and ascended to the Other Side of Rock-n-Roll."

The Journal of a Madman Has Written Its Final Entry.

So I dedicate this page to the Oz, already jamming with Randy Rhodes and Lemmy Kilmister.

I'm still busted up inside.  We lost a giant in the world of music.  So this is my song, my personal song dedication to him, randy, and Lemmy.

Lemmy help write the lyrics to this track.

This track was co-written with Lemmy Kilmister and is both a lament and a celebration of the nonstop lifestyle of a rock star. According to Ozzy, who was friends with Lemmy for pretty much their entire adult lives, this was no mere posturing, but a reflection of of the way the artists lived. “Sex, drugs and rock & roll, that was Lemmy,” he reflected shortly after his friend’s death in 2015, adding “He was my hero.”

Was Ozzy a Christian?  I'd say so but he had great disdain for organized religion and there hypocrites.

[Chorus]
Hellraiser, in the thunder and heat
Hellraiser, knock you back in your seat
Hellraiser, and I'll make it come true
Hellraiser, I'll put a spell on you

[Verse 2]
Walking out on another stage
Another town, another place
Sometimes I don't feel right
Nerves wound up too damn tight
People keep telling me it's bad for my health
But kicking back don't make it

[Pre-Chorus]
Out of control, I play the ultimate role
But that's what lights my fire

[Chorus]
Hellraiser, in the thunder and heat
Hellraiser, knock you back in your seat
Hellraiser, and I'll make it come true
Hellraiser, I'll put a spell on you

[Instrumental Break]

[Guitar Solo]

[Verse 3]
I'm living on an endless road
Around the world for rock and roll
Sometimes it feels so tough
But I still ain't had enough

[Pre-Chorus]
Feeling alright in the noise and the light
But that's what lights my fire

[Chorus]
Hellraiser, in the thunder and heat
Hellraiser, knock you back in your seat
Hellraiser, and I'll make it come true
Hellraiser, I'll put a spell on you
