Unfortunately, things aren't going well for Adeltrude. The new priest of the local parish has decided to wage a veritable war on anything that does not respect morality, and the prostitutes are being told to leave the premises as soon as possible if they do not want to end up executed!  

Adeltrude has no choice but to leave... But the roads are very dangerous, especially for a woman on her own. She has no choice but to head for the city walls and try to make a place for herself there.

She arrived at dusk, but the place wasn't very welcoming and there weren't many people there apart from beggars and soldiers from the garrison.

The rain is falling heavily and Adeltrude is overcome by an unpleasant feeling: everything has to be redone now!

Finally, she found a corner to settle in, she has no possessions and so doesn't really take up much space, this cavity in the ruin will provide her with shelter from the elements.

Now it's time to get to work, because food isn't free here either! From what the young woman knows, the soldiers are often far from home and not hard to convince when it comes to a bit of fun and company. Let's have a look!
