Eight fucking years

The summer season starts on Monday, our son’s birthday. My luvs and Lidija were very busy interviewing the first wave of seasonal workers and introducing them to the Hotel rules, regulations, obligations, and rights. This time we had a few workers from Nepal and the Philippines. Unfortunately, they have very limited or no English knowledge and profession, so we couldn’t give them better jobs, but physical jobs like cleaning and similar. But we assigned very good and trustworthy people who will watch out they wouldn’t be exploited, molested, or tricked by their bosses and other workers and who will make sure they are doing their jobs right and lead their working diaries fairly and correctly. We make no difference between them and our workers, unlike many other companies who also underpay them. My Prince warned our seasonal and full-time workers that if anyone will mistreat them on national, racial, or any other level will be fired, but will be dealing with him and my Ivy first (they know what it means). He also distributed the Google translations of our rules, regulations, their obligations and their rights to our foreign workers in their languages with the warning that we will not tolerate laziness, stealing, being late for work, or coming drunk to work and similar. If they do that, they will be fired. Since they will work 6 months for us, they would have only one extra obligation every day except weekends: to attend one hour of Croatian class. We hired a student of Croatian language for that task and he will be paid well.

Now, about the theme from the title. Those of you who follow my diaries know we have many enemies. My enemies all come from my past. I don’t even know some of them, like this girl who damaged my new Audi electric car with a big screw from all sides. She really damaged it a lot before our security caught her seeing her on our parking cameras since we didn’t assign parking lot patrols yet. When she was taken into the security office, my Ivy went to interrogate her in the presence of the security guard. The interrogation was video recorded. The lady didn’t even try to lie and make excuses. She said why she did it. She saw me at one crossroad when I was driving Malicija to the Hotel in the morning and she decided to follow me. When she found out where I am working, she returned several hours later determined to damage my car and hurt me when she’d have the opportunity. On my Ivy’s question why does she want to hurt me, she replied it is because I ruined her engagements 8 years ago. (Can you fucking believe – 8 years ago ???!!!) Her fiancée broke up with her because of me. She was so devastated that she left the city and moved to the capitol to heal her wounds believing it was me who made him breaking up with her. When she said her fiancée’s name I remembered him, but I didn’t know he was engaged because he never said anything about it and he didn’t wear the engagement ring. I was a bad girl and I did many nasty things, but I wasn’t a relationship or marriage breaker. If I knew he was engaged with her, I would never have anything with him. My Ivy told her that, but she was full of hate toward me saying I got what I deserved and that sooner or later she will get me. Then my Ivy went mad and wanted to beat her. The security guard had to stand in between them asking her to calm down. Then she threatened her that if she comes near me within a radius of 20 meters, she will kill her. When my Ivy completely calmed down, she called the police and reported the girl. She will be behind bars for some time. My Prince made sure that she will give up on her threat to hurt me. Waiting for the police in the parking lot, he told her:

- Let me tell you something and I want you to listen very carefully. I never hurt a woman in my life, but if something happens to my wife Eva and I found you were involved, I swear, I will find you and your accomplices and I will hurt you so badly that you will spend the rest of your life laying immobilized on your bed being connected to life preserving machines and pain killers.

My Ivy told me that the lady got really scared and that she said she’ll never approach me. Anyway, when she was taken away, dad Boss, and Silvano arrived at the Hotel to see my car. He called the car leasing company and asked for a new electric Audi for me. They said they will deliver one on Monday and tow this one away. They usually do not do that because all their cars comes with full insurance, but since we are very good and loyal customers, they will do an exception. This time. I thanked him. After the incident, my Ivy assigned parking lot patrols and dad Boss treated us to lunch in the Hotel restaurant. I was melted when Malicija said to Silvano:

- I want you to take good care of Mrs. Eva, Silvano! If anything happens to her, you will be in trouble with me too!

Silvano smiled and said:

- Have no worries, I pledged with my life, that nobody will hurt her in my presence. My life for her.

Malicija: What about me?

Silvano: My life for you too.

Malicija leaned over the table and kissed him loudly while we smiled.

Safe to assume you always have enemies that you don't know about or can't remember. I hate it that I have to look over my shoulder once in awhile to check, but at the same time I'm a little thankful for that since staying somewhat prepared/ready can be helpful in many fucked up situations. But they're certainly not the kind of surprises that are 'enjoyable' and I actually don't like surprises at all.

> Indeed, sometimes I didn't even know why somebody was angry with me. Some thing that are normal to me, are offensive to the others and via versa. When I was in high school, my Ivy and I attended the same class and she protected me fighting even boys. later on, we attended different colleges and she couldn't protect me always. Anyway, I wasn't afraid of being beaten although I didn't like it. I hated to be humiliated. There were only few girls that were better fighters than me, but I couldn't fight boys, like my Ivy. However, those days are behind me and I am not afraid for myself of my luvs, but for our children. That's why we have high security at home.

Actually thought about starting a thread about this. I guess how paranoid you are or actual threats determines how much of this you need. I typically would go a little stupid overboard with it, but that takes capital investment I simply can't afford. Besides, spending a Saturday night monitoring your security cameras just sounds like a waste of time that you could be spending making better allies- which you seem to have no problem doing. ;)

> We installed security cameras on our property and built higher fence because people walked on out parking lot and property like it is a public property. Also, we do not have to watch our home security cameras at all since they are connected with the security agency's server. We watch it only when someone rings the bell. There is always someone who is watching what is happening at our house. Of course, certain privacy level is given to us (dead angles that only we know about) since we have sex all over the place.

> I think your idea for creating tread about this topic is very good. You can take us as bad or good example, depends of how do you see our security.

Perception is more important than the truth?   Yes, I see a lot of this going on.   While the country you live in figures very importantly, our own area of work/interest will define our threat perception as well.   For example, I think @Evaloves4 should also worry about generation of liquid capital as much as physical security, but that is because I am concerned with the reform efforts of PM Plenkovic.   Also I was concerned with events in Bosnia, Herzegovina and Republic Srpska, though that looks like it is cooling off.

I am not discounting any physical threat, just saying that it is interesting where our individual paranoia leads us.    Finally, AI is also a threat leading to the "dead internet" theory ("AI technologies have evolved through time, the content on the internet has gone from being human-generated to artificially generated, and from real to fake—the very essence of the invisible problem of AI misinformation." Wow Eva thank god that girl was caught before she got to you. I hope you know some ways of self defence just in case. Like some tricks to help you get away to safety. :open_mouth:

I had the chance to apologize to most of the people I upset when I was young. :heart:;)

> Second, I know basic and I am strong since I exercise with my luvs, but am not a fighter. I might do some basic martial arts moves my luvs taught me but I think I cannot beat anyone unless that person is very bad in fist fighting. That's why I have Silvano. by the way, I never go out of my office or to my car without escort. There is always someone with me.

> Thanks. I also have problems sometimes to remember things and people although I have a very good memory. there are so many things happening daily in my life, and always converting between languages that sometimes I lost myself wondering where am I and what language do I originally speak. :classic_laugh:
