I decided to alternate my blog entries between pictorials and more informational pieces.

FAIR SKIN COMPLEXION

Now, thanks to a single mod she's ready for her close-up.  The mod I use for my pics is called Fair Skin Complexion, and as well as providing improved skin textures for CBBE and 3BBB bodies, it gives you the option of changing the face makeup of nearly all female NPCs to high definition textures.  It also adds improved mouth and teeth, eye and eyebrow textures.

Even though the body shape of the models has changed over time along with my modding ability, I've kept using Fair Skin Complexion for facial textures because I like the "airbrushed" aesthetic.  What you need to remember about Fair Skin Complexion is that it doesn't just add a few custom-built "beautiful" followers to the game - it applies changes to almost all existing NPCs.

Beyond just having better looking predefined followers which are available to you in the game, there are high chances that you will from time to time meet someone you wouldn't mind getting to know better.

AMAZING FOLLOWER TWEAKS

I've used it for a long time, but only recently tried the extra features it enables.  You can order NPCs to adopt different poses, and command them to stay put.  That way, you can use other pose mods to direct them and you won't have any trouble with the AI moving around.

It could be a lady passing by on the street of a city, it could be Astrid - leader of the Dark Brotherhood; in this case let's say it's her.  How do you:

• Recruit nearly NPC as a follower
• Pose NPCs easily without having to use the console a lot
• Gain control of NPC outfits so full nudity is possible

Yes, this mod allowed me to recruit Astrid as a follower.  Yes, it warned me explicitly that she was an essential quest character and doing this could break any quest she was involved with.  I did it anyway; I just remembered to save before I recruited her and go back to that after the shoot.  Using models like this is cool but kind of temporary because they can't really be used like proper followers because of potential game issues.

She's dead in my playthrough now.  Oh well, at least I still have the snaps...
