Hey guys, what mods are you using to make your characters look that way?

Man, I saw that update while I was downloading something else and thought Steam was just being stupid about my mods replacing core files. I didn't realize there really was an update. Glad I didn't let it download. I came within a few pixels of downloading this by accident, even as careful as I am. A few tips from someone (me) who completely frickin loathes Steam: As several people said already, set Fallout 4 to "update only when I launch" (Steam library > Properties > Updates) Personally, I hate Steam, so I keep it offline when not using it for something. I also firewall the damn thing for good measure, because even in offline mode, it still uses my network without permission to update itself. Never, ever, EVER launch the game from within Steam, or from the desktop shortcut that Steam creates. Never do that. Zip up your entire Fallout 4 folder and save it somewhere, just for situations like this. If Steam says there is an update required, but has not yet downloaded it... Immediately put Steam into Offline mod and then close it. Check the system tray to make certain it's not still running. Find the file appmanifest_377160.acf, which should be in the \Steam\Steamapps\ folder. Open it in a text editor. Look for this line: "StateFlags" "XX" where XX is a number. Change that number to "4". This tells it that the game is installed and is fully up-to-date, no update required. Look for these two lines and make sure the number is 0 in both: "BytesToDownload" "0" "BytesDownloaded" "0" When you're done, save it, close your text editor and set the file to Read-Only. You'll need to undo this if you ever decide to allow the update. Look in the \Steam\Steamapps\Downloading\ folder and if there are any files or folders with "377160" in the name, delete it immediately. You *should* be safe to play the game now, as long as you DO NOT EVER launch it from within Steam. To be extra safe, only ever launch the game while Steam is offline. If it already started downloading the update but didn't install it, this *might* work to halt the update and return it to a playable state, but I can't promise anything. Thank you for this, I bookmarked this thread if I ever need it. Steam fucked me in the ass and installed the update in the background while I was working and not paying attention. Finally I got my game fixed again. Steam is set up properly now, and in offline mode for punishment. They had me since Morrowind. I started on a path and became a professional artist mostly because of that game. I loved Oblivion. Fallout 3 I really enjoyed. Skyrim was my life, over 4000 hours in it. Fallout 4 I am still having fun with. Bethe$da, or should I call them Greedthesda is slowly but surely digging their own grave. Never will I buy their game again. There are other ways.

How are you making these characters in SE to look so sexy and appealing? Are you exporting heads through Oldrim's Racemenu, then placing them in SE? How do you get the bodies? The same way? I can't even 3rd person for a second how shitty my characters look, both males and females.

I am playing a semi-pacifist character (only kill undead and few types of animals and creatures, everyone else I beat and either spare and simply leave the area or I turn them in for bounty) and I hate it when : a) Follower kill counts as my own b ) ghost kill count as person c) vampire kill counts as a person (I know that in Elder scrolls lore vampirism is a disease, but technically they are undead) Seven blessings fellow traveler, I really appreciate this!

Maybe it's the Alexander Race which uses a custom body and head among other things. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/67684/? https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/110/images/67684-1-1436490005.jpg I am tired of walking around as a huge mountain of muscles, such a shame for Alexander Race that it is so incompatible with almost anything because it looks so good and otherwise I would definitely use it.

Can we get more info about this mod and current status? E.g. that the first post is updated with features and many screenshots where the WIP status is at? I've been following this thread for some time now and the information is really scarce.

I don't know about that first one but you can do the second one with EFF i think, it has a train option and a relax option http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12933/? in EFF you can set them to relax and they walk around where ever they are and interact with objects and sometimes people completely RNG tho dunno if AFT does the same thing Thanks guys for the effort but EFF doesn't help. I have it for a long time now, never ever did a follower take a bow and start shoot targets, nor attack the dummies with the sword. When I tried to manually command them to attack - they don't recognize the targets. Oh well.

Hi guys, two quick questions: Is there a way to tweak followers kills that they don't count as your own? Is there a way to make follower relax and shoot on archery target or train on melee practice dummy? Like the NPC's do e.g. behind Companions? Thanks in advance!

I have Sexlab, Sexlab submit, Sexlab romance & NPC Knockout Overhaul, so basically I would simply like a way to put an NPC into shackles so that he/she doesn't dissapear or free themselves. No rape, nothing like that needed, just the ability to put NPC into shackles. Now I use Submit to lead a NPC into cage and lock the doors behind him/her via console. But several times they vanished from it. What mod do I need to enslave bastard NPC's for good? Also, is there a mod that transfers vampires into strictly undead? And is there a mod that allows me to lock doors? Thanks in advance! Long story long:

Is there a mod that allows me to become a Jarl of Whiterun? I know that I can remove current jarl from his throne if I stand with Stormcloaks, but then that other Stormcloak dude would become jarl. Here's the idea: Open cities mod, combined with guild starter mod, combined with tundra defense mod = great fun! If there is none such mod I'll simply roleplay myself as a army general and add myself to the whiterune faction.

You guys are working on this mod again? How awesome is that! Keep up the good work, and yeah, as others have said work on the basics first then upgrade it in later versions!
