They're pretty low quality and too much shiny metal.

Fair enough, they were done by some half blind old foggie in Paint.NET (me)

Its not Rocket Science to do, just takes more practice than I have time for, if you want it bad enough have a crack at doing it yourself

But I am looking for something more leather-like.

 

Already wasting enough time to just clean my mods, not going to learn how to model and texture as well.

Try the "Outrider" armor (no the re-texture version) on the Nexus, it has a yellow based outfit that will match nicely!

*source, I browse too many mods and have a .txt file to keep track of all the outfits i've installed!
