HDT BodySlide Armor Conversions ~ by Trykz

Recommended Posts

Between the dozens of projects I usually have going,

I like to take breaks now and then to work on something

I don't typically mess with too much.

This time it was BodySlide 2's Outfit Studio.

So I picked my favorite armors (which have about

a gazillion parts mind you  :P) and went with it. The

physics work nicely for the breasts and butt with the

HDT files I'm using. They look especially nice

while riding a horse  ;)

Anyway, these are what I finally find satisfactory enough to share:

Fiona Valkyrie Armor

complete with crafting and temper recipes:

I opted to use the boots from Vitrik's

Doomed Valkyrie conversion, as the original

boots had quite an odd way of pointing together

and overlapping badly.

Included are all the appropriate BodySlide files,

already set up to merge with your BodySlide folder.

It took me a bit to sort out the directory structure for

everything, but simply merging it into your

Skyrim Data folder should put everything where

it needs to be.

Here's the file:

Elysium Armor Set

This one was actually easier than I thought. I had

to replace the hand mesh on the gloves, because

the fingers of the original were horribly deformed,

even at idle without any pose mod in play.

It includes the full 4 piece set, with a set of heels

added for variety. I didn't alter the ESP for this in any way.

I do know that it does in fact have recipes for crafting

and tempering.

Available in 4 colors, this is only the dress and earrings.

I removed the boots from the ESP as they were created

before any HDT system was available, and looked

pretty bad. I highly recommend using Bob's Platform

Boots with these, cause they look simply awesome together  ;)

There appears to be some alternative textures in the texture folder

for these, for those of you who might like to experiment.

Nova Armor Set

post-26143-0-64786300-1395873712_thumb.jpg

This "was" a "one piece" armor. So I split off the

gloves, boots, and goggles from the torso, and

made them separate pieces.

It looks and works pretty

well, but has some minor annoyances I couldn't

figure out. The tubes from the back of the torso to

the right glove broke apart after converting the torso

to BodySlide. It looks normal in BodySlide, but in

game it's broken.

There is also a little clipping on

the back of the boot knee when sneaking.

The mesh started to split apart in OS,

so I stopped where it seemed to look best.

Malo Clothing Set

For the aspiring mage, or something....... else  ;)

post-26143-0-15335100-1395883498_thumb.jpg

I added the hood, but removed the hair from it

for aesthetic reasons (it looked like hell LOL),

making it a full 4 piece clothing set.

I figured I'd do something constructive while

taking a break from working on the Atmora world

and Amazon race mods, so I made this:

Tsun Armor Mix

post-26143-0-10225400-1396214707_thumb.jpgpost-26143-0-97148600-1396214718_thumb.jpg

Here, you see it fitted to the Apollo body. However, the

packed file contains the base CBBE body.

It's a combination of the Tsun, Wolf, Shredded Triss,

and Mak armors I threw together in NifSkope, then

converted to BodySlide in Outfit Studio.

It will eventually be the default armor set

for all my Amazon race NPCs in Atmora.

Here's the file:

Tsun Armor Mix.rar

Got kinda tired of looking at some of my vanilla

armor replacers, which were still looking a

bit too vanilla. So I decided to make some new ones  :P

Daedric Coil Embrace

Peek-a-boo Dragonscale

Wondering why it's called that? LOL

Dragonbone

Here's a fix for the Coil Embrace skirt problem.

Frost Queen's Attire

So here's something a little different:

I always liked the Ice armor someone made eons ago, but could

never find it for any version of BodySlide. So, I decided to make my

own, and add my own touches to it. In total, this mod consists of 7

(yes, Seven) individual items......

The armor set itself (light armor, craftable under glass).

Armor (HDT, and fully BodySlide capable), Gloves, Crown, and Heels (requires hdtHighHeels).

post-26143-0-69522000-1400540716_thumb.jpgpost-26143-0-99546500-1400540708_thumb.jpg

a shield

post-26143-0-53221800-1400540787_thumb.jpg

a dagger

post-26143-0-65111600-1400540944_thumb.jpg

and.........

a new spell that summons this guy to help you out  ;)

post-26143-0-68572400-1400540954_thumb.jpg

Yep, your very own Frost Wraith  :P

You can find the spell to summon him leaning against

the Mage Stone (at the Guardian Stones between Helgen

and Riverwood).

The character body you see here is the same one I released with

my Frost Elves race mod. So this armor goes onto them without

any alterations at all. For other shapes, the BodySlide file ARE

included, and will automatically be added to your BodySlide folder

(assuming BodySlide is in it's default location).

This mod is packed into a BSA, but creating a new BodySlide shape

will automatically add the new body meshes to the proper folder.

So without further delay, here's the file:

Frost Queen Armor Set.7z

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll add more sets as I have time to work on them.

Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing Trykz, can't wait to try it out

You're quite welcome......

working on Vitrik's Elysium conversion now  :D

The gloves, sandals, and heels need more work than anything. The armor itself was easy.

Currently working on the Bad Medicine set.

The heels are being a real pain though.

After converting them in OS, the lower part

of the heel mesh goes missing.

I suspect it's because this was initially

converted for CHSBHC.

Anyway, heres where I'm at so far:

But alas, the hour draws near, and I have work at 5am

would you happen to know what enb setting would cause the elysium outfit to be extremely bright in sunlight? assuming its enb

great stuff tho

I think it's likely something to do with the specularity. Might be fixable in NifSkope. I'll have a look at it when I get a chance.

Currently work on Vitrik's Al3d Hot Dress conversion. Got one of the dresses finished, and starting on the next one now. The boots will be removed from the ESP, since they were made before HDT, and something causes them to break in game after conversion to BodySlide, and ending up with missing toes. Personally, I think they look better with any number of the HDT enabled boots available anyway.

post-26143-0-14364600-1395783995_thumb.jpg

It shows some slight clipping when slid too high above the CBBE max weight.

Other than that it's fine. Another one that looks just awesome while riding  :P

Oh, btw.... this screen was taken inside the new Atmora world mod I'll be adding my races to  ;)

HDT BodySlide Nova Armor Set

Each of the pieces you see are individual parts.

Gloves, armor, boots, and the helmet is yet

to come (just need to add it to the ESP).

edit:

Goggles added.

Just need to clean up a bit of clipping

on the torso and boots after work tomorrow,

and reset the partitions for each piece on

the BodySlide .nifs

With that I'm off to bed....  :sleepy:

I decided I'd do one more set before I get

back to building my races into Atmora

tomorrow after work.

And I wanted to make it a good one  :P

So I chose this one:

Malo Clothing Set

I have a bit of touch-up on the panty edges,

and then just need to make recipes for each piece.

Beyond that, it's basically ready to go.

It's a basic clothing set with no armor value,

but if enough want it as an armor, I'll mod

the ESP later.

I had the same issus with some armors redlantern; fixed it by setting "bFloatpointrenderertarget" to =0 in SkyrimPrefs.ini. I really dont know what is causing this though ...

i tried this but i guess with my enb it made the bottom half of my screen very dark, ill just have to wait for a possible fix

but thanks though, it did remove the shine lol

I had a look in NifSkope, and it's definitely the specularity settings on the meshes.

I'll make adjustments to the BodySlide meshes one night this week and re-upload it.

i tried these but i think i am doing something wrong or probably just need to do more research. i am new to the game and my mistake has been the discovery of mods. i seem to do more reading than playing.

currently i have cbbev3 body, sg textures and my current cbbe tbbp preset with xpms skeleton. i am using the current 14.28 hdt pe. no enb yet. am i supposed to be using the hdt body for this? i choose the armor from the drop down in bs2, choose my preset, create and batch build. when i go ingame the elysium top does not cover the nipples and the back of the skirt begins halfway into my butt, shoes, gloves and helm work perfrect. this is really the armor i would like to use but i get greedy so i tried them all.

with valkyrie the the armor looks right but i am having the same problem with the back as elysium. my feet and hands disappear when equipping those pieces.

nova looks good but the front does not look like the shape of my preset.

i did install these with nmm. all the meshes, textures and esp are in the right places so i am not sure what i am doing wrong. any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

I downloaded the Tsun mashup today, added it to game, & the boots are invisible, not a foot to stand on, so to speak.

Sounds like a conflict.

Are you running anything else that modifies the Tsun armor? Tsun armor is set as unplayable in the vanilla game. If you're already running a mod that makes it playable, just deactivate it's ESP and see if they show up. I couldn't have screenshotted them if they didn't work in game  ;)
