lol, my skyrim hobby is followers.

 

thanks gvman for making this thread.  i usually posted pics of my followers on my blog.

some good choices so far and so many that haven't been mentioned yet.

Ugly ol' Jenassa, who's normally hideous.



All the female followers get a similar makeover. It's cool if you want a vanilla tagalong that doesn't look rough, old or hideous.

 

 

 

 

While I like and use many of the SBF followers, I think this rendition of Jenassa just doesn't fit her character.

Having the female dark elf voice coming from her is really jarring.

 

For such a dark and mysterious character I like Willow83's version of her much better:

Things have changed now, but back in the day my main, Tamaria would travel Skyrim harassing the locals and killing giants with Daness, Valora, and Mildred. They were the Fearsome Four

 

 

 

And before that my main at the time, Varania traveled with her dear wife Kaprinde, Serana, and Danarius. Unfortunately they were all launched to the moon by a giant and it went downhill from there.

 

 

And sometime in between those other two I made a male Redguard, Travis who traveled with his little sister Porsepine. They died riding horses up a cliff because..physics

Old companions, they eventually took over the responsibilities ROMA didn´t want take for herself. 

 

* Mindi Bowen: is living in Winterhold in the Archmage quarters, as substitute archmage (she doesn´t know magic so she must be having a hard time). 

 

* Lydia just moved in ROMA´s Whiterun Mansion to work on the farm and eventually lunched a hotjeans company.

Some of you may have seen the post I recently made in the "Share your Character Presets!" thread. As well as character presets, I also make all my own custom followers! All my followers are fully voiced using the game's assets, and should be fully compatible will all follower mechanic overhaul systems & texture choices! I have been making them available on the Nexus for some time now - you can click the banners in my signature to go straight to my mod pages!

Jochen the Rogue! Jochen is the very first follower I ever made for Skyrim, and he always accompanies my characters through their journeys. He's great fun! When not adventuring, Jochen can be found in the Riverwood Tavern - he's a great alternative for those who, like me, have never particularly like Faendal or Sven:

Uthgerd the Unbroken - probably the follower in more dire need of an overhaul from the Vanilla than any other in Skyrim (*closely followed by Ria - see below):

All of the base Stormcloak & Imperial guards & soldiers have received an overhaul too! This was a massive job, but WELL worth doing! You will notice an appearance change with ALL of the Town Guards & soldiers patrolling Skyrim's holds, and with all of the Stormcloak soldiers who accompany you in Helgen and on your Civil War missions! Here's a couple of examples:

 

 

 

 

 

TO DO LIST: Once I am done with my SeveNBase armour conversions, I will be moving back to Skyrim facegen & follower creation! A full Housecarl pack is on the cards, a re-vamp of a couple of my existing followers, and a couple of larger "Compilation"-style packs compiling several sets of my followers for those who wish to use them all, but with fewer plugins!
