  1. mmm, That makes me think about a tail with an array of hinge limited hinge constraints to create a fluffy tail. All of them tied by a previous rigid body using a fixed constraint parented to the tail bones. Something like this: Of course I would use a taper value for the tail capsules to get the right angle on the tail. NVM about the fixed constraints, it would be better with a couple of limited hinges. Then using a cylinder with a FFD (Cyl) to get a nice skinwrap helper to do the rigging in a couple minutes. --- Just my two cents ---
  2. correct, TBBP did that. To be honest...logic alone says havoc clothing (when the base is set up correcty) would be much easier, But I have no experience with animating so i'm not sure. Its the same, if you bake physics into a bones system you just have to link some bones to a couple vertices of the mesh, run the animation for a certain action (like Run Forward) while you simulate the cloth. Then all that data is converted to keyframes that the bones will follow. Voila, fake physics. For real physics, its not about how hard it is, you just define rigid bodies and paint weights to let the game know how much influence has the cloth solver over those polygons and of course, set the parameters to the cloth solver. Its not a matter of how hard or easier is to do it, its about how expensive is for the average joe's system. Because you want to create a really nice looking game, but it wont sell if only a handful of ppl can run it. And since its a MMO, you need it to make it as much as system friendly you can. The graphics race were you needed a new system for the upcomming game was a thing of the past, now every game looks kind of the same way, different aesthetics, different textures resolution, but not huge improvements.
  3. Good catch, cloth physics are fake on that video, its like Tera's cloth, its just a simulation baked into a animation using a bones system. Its quite obvious at the moment she stops, actually if you look carefully, the cloth behaves in EXACTLY the same way each time she stops. That means, ANIMATION, not physics. Another easy way to prove it is at watch the character, she is running in a straight line, then she moves to the left, then she goes to that "fence" (I don't know the word for that) and then she walks backwards in a diagonal. Now, watch that segment again and you will see that the cloth always follows the body perfectly, no overlapping, no twisting and it resets each time the character makes a sudden move. Again, its clearly an animation. But it makes sense, since for a MMO that will include sieges and such, processing a crowd of players with cloth physics would be quite heavy. Anyway Aion has cloth physics I believe. it has been years since I don't play the game, but I think that one has real cloth (at a really basic level, but its real) EDIT: Great, now I see the baking issues all the time, like that annoying "flap" sound that is continuously repeated each time she stops... Need more proofs?
  4. Dunno, it looks really promissing, but then I remember that is a korean mmo... so expect a really good lvling and a grindfeast for endgame...
  5. I think that on the "Project Merida - Another Shitty Hair" Thread there was a couple guys talking about how to add it to NPCs. I'm not a big fan of followers since skyrim AI SUCKS (I would kill for a follower AI like in Dragon's Dogma...) that's why I never tried to add it to a NPC.
  6. Try using showracemenu, select another hair, and select the hair again. But I dont have any idea why that happens and I couldnt replicate that issue. Are you using other HDT mods aswell? (like those HDT bouncing Kits with collisions)

Dunno, I watched a lot, but here are my favorites Berserk, including the movies made by Studio 4°C though the CG is quite bad on the first movie. Tekkonkinkreet a great adaptation by Studio 4°C here the CG is amazing. Genius Party Beyond by 4°C its an amazing set of shorts that will blow your mind specially Dimension Bomb (pun intended?) Tomb of the fireflies its a masterpiece of Takahata, but dont watch it if you are depressed. 5cms per second by Makoto Shinkai, again, dont watch it if you are depressed. Porco Rosso by Miyazaki. Mononoke Hime by Miyazaki. Akira by Otomo
  8. Yup, one of these days I'll start to work on it again since it was just a base.
  9. UPDATE! Current version: 2.14.18 (if someone is interested in knowing the reason of such arbitrary numbers, they mean the number of the Max Scene used for havok setup, the "2" means that is the second version of the Mesh)
  10. According to mchaloffvii He had problems with HDT 7B or maybe one of the HDT All in One packages (seems like its collision filters are 0 or 10) 0 means HUGE incompatibilities, 10 means bad luck =S So, if you still want to use this mod you will have to change the filters on the hair or change the filters on HDT 7B to something different than 0 or 10 How? "Collision filters and Yoo..."
  11. Why would you want to get back there (apart from the hosted mods that you can leech without saying a word like I've done for quite some time) Back on topic, as all forums, they can check the users that have logged trough an specific IP, so if you bring up attention to yourself they could check that IP and see that a banned user used that IP before. Just be another silent click (as many of the nexus guys) and leech. BTW, I'm sure that some of the Nexus mods check LL silently so be quiet
  12. You are completly right, the hair needs more weight, but weight is related to mass and gravity. I can edit mass values, but I cant edit gravity since I dont have any clue about how to do it since I cant export a "create world" container that works with HDT u.u On the next days I will start to experimet adding insanely high mass values to see if that works since I dont know the gravity value on HDT PE (atm, that "light" hair weights more than 10kgs per strand xD)

Use showracemenu or go to the "face sculptor" on Riften if you have Dawnguard. "My computer dies each time I use this hair" That means your CPU/GPU isn't powerful enough to run this hair or this hair + the rest of heavly scrited mods. "Are you going to create versions for beast races?" Not at the moment, we're busy with the dress / cape. "The hair clips trough my HUGE breasts!" *facepalm* If I get enough requests and if I'm in the mood and if the stars align properly and the great Cthulhu and the always suffering Filler Bunny allows me. I'll do a patch for all your HDT breasts... "This hair sucks..." Well, it was done for MY character, not your MMD version of skyrim, it wasn't even intended for release... so... I don't care =) "Yoo are an awful person! May you fail in all your endeavors! I hate you!"
