Too many script intensive mods?
johnnyboy88 replied to JayTongue's topic in Skyrim General Discussion
Actually. Just thought I'd mention. Wet and Cold was recently updated to v1.31 (29sep2013) . All the scripts were reviewed. Here's a post on the performance and stability -
FNIS v4 has issues with MO v1.0.3 at the moment the fix is in the testing stage. http://issue.tannin.eu/tbg/modorganizer/issues/423 So you can either downgrade to FNIS v4 beta whatever, or try downgrading MO, or wait for the fix to be released. **Edit. -- Well. looks like MO v1.0.4 was release so the fix is probably in there.

Quoted from the v2.0 change log: I had to spawn like 3 of them before it triggered in my test run. So, now it's more random than a 100% guarantee, which I like. Depending on how the random number is generated, if it kills you and you have to reload the save, it might reset some sort of counter or something. It will do its math from the same seed value so the number generated might be similar after every reload. Try killing a few of them first to advance the count and randomness. Of course I haven't done much testing so this is all just guessing on my part.

I have v 2.12.7 installed and it seems to be working just fine for me. I have a lot of mods installed so I'm not sure what is contributing to it's success. I'll just post the ones I believe that are relevant for now. I also use ModOrganizer. This is the order I have them installed and then I just let BOSS put the esp's in whatever order it wants to. If they're not recognized by BOSS I just leave them at the end in this order. This also alleviates problems like left over scripts from updating old version type errors. Because when I install it, I name it with the version number for easy testing and roll back. It also makes it a clean install by not having to worry about left over scripts in data folder and the like. I only have to worry about a dirty save file. I'm of the opinion that there should be a sub-forum for requests. I noticed some of the reasons behind not doing a sub forum was about catering to those that request, or increasing server load and activty by multiple bumps. Then just make a rule of no bumps allowed. If it gets bumped it gets locked. That way people can easily see if there's been activity, discussion, interest. If there's even just two people interested in something it has a better chance of actually getting made. I also don't see how that's any more work for moderators. It wouldn't increase server load because it would be the same number of requests whether anything came of it or not. Also, if two people start talking there's always a chance their ideas might interest a third or a fourth. A discussion in PM's will never attract more attention to an idea. Another reason is just the other day I saw a request thread made to make a mod to move the camera in first person. All that's required for that is to open up NifSkope and move the camera position. Easily done and doesn't require a mod. I didn't have time to wait for the individual to see the their thread locked, wait for them to post in the uber request thread, hope I see it, then supply my answer hoping they'd see it, before it all got buried. So I just sent a PM. An answer like that though may help others with a similar need and it would be easy to see the answer. Finally, having a separate thread would make it easier for experienced modders to help new people with creating their own mods even if they don't want to get fully involved. The experienced modders can provide tips and direction when they feel like it. And again continous bumping asking for help, aka begging, would get locked. But having a discussion between a begining modder and an advanced modder will help new modders and benifit all. People will easily be able to see where the knowledge is and info that might help them due to the thread size. Another important reason for no bump rule. Anyway, that's my opinion.

Pregnant-Weighted tbbp armor (Bodyslide2)
johnnyboy88 replied to cornelius_t's topic in Downloads - Skyrim Adult & Sex Mods
Bodyslide does not need to be installed at this point in time as there are no slidersets for this armor yet. In a word. No. Whatever you install last will take priority. -

Maybe it would be possible to take CT77's slidershapes and add in a pregnancy slider and shapedata to make these bodyslide compatible. -
I've had the same issue trying those so called performance enb presets. The fact of the matter is, any enb is going to reduce your fps substantially. It's just the nature of enb. It will hit some systems harder than others of course. I'm not saying 2-10fps loss is impossible, just not likely. If you read the enb forums a 20fps drop is not uncommon. Post processing effects are a resource intensive task. Here are some things you can try though: http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENB#tab=Troubleshooting There are also tabs on that page to explain what the ini settings do in order to help you adjust it for your system. You can use the in game gui pressing "shift-enter" Start by turning everything off. Then enable them one at a time. Usually the biggest performance eaters are usually SSAO/DoF/SunRay/Reflections/Skylighting. Then as you enable settings one at a time you can try changing their quality and filter settings to 2 for better performance. Currently my favorite enb is Phinix Natural ENB

Anything that's profile specific (i.e. Bashed Patch, SkyProc Patcher files, Community Uncapper ini files) has to be manually replaced. Keep separate folders with all the relevant files in MO Overwrites folder and swap the files when you change profiles. Also, I suggest installing FNIS normally via Mod Organizer, then copying the whole FNIS folder from the MO mod install directory to MO Overwrites folder and adding the executable from overwrites folder. It will work fine then. This is actually also true for any SkyProc Patchers. The only thing I've ever installed into the skyrim directory itself is SKSE and ENB One more thing to keep in mind about the overwrites folder is that when you use TES5Edit via MO it puts the cleaned files in the overwrites folder. You have to move them back to the mod directory manually. Also here are two tutorials that may help some of you MOD Organizer a Beginners Guide MOD Organizer an Advanced Guide

SOS schlong for females - UNP
johnnyboy88 replied to b3lisario's topic in Downloads - Skyrim Adult & Sex Mods
Its best to wait until they are out of beta You know. These kinds of comments are totally unhelpful. I've been running across them all over the internet lately. Everything is constantly in "beta" and this is the response they give thinking they're being cool, or helpful to the devs. Obviously when a product is "finished" it's going to be really awesome and have support for all kinds of things. I asked this question basically wondering if I was the only one or if it's happening to everyone. I also asked hoping some kind soul might have come up with a workaround/hack to get it working. I suppose I could have detailed my question but I didn't really think it was necessary. Finally, Seeing as I haven't noticed that particular mod discussed with SOS except in maybe one or two posts scattered and hard to find; I wasn't even sure if that particular mod was even being worked on for compatibility. So in the future I'd rather you didn't say anything at all then reply with completely unhelpful comments. I'll continue digging into the mod as see if I can see where the conflict is. -

Has anyone been able to get The Joy of Perspective to work with this?
