Most times it is required. Most SSR you must obtain from pulls. Check other threads for beginner advice to mod basic SS.

Hello. This happens if you have a virtual network or (VPN) when attempt to update the DMM player for foreign user. Disable virtual network and it will update. You will prompt to restart your PC.

Just right click the DMM icon and select "Run as Administrator". Worked for me.
