Love the skin. I wish I can use more skintones with it.

There's big plans for a new skin, especially working on the seams that keep popping up. Hopefully I'll get time to work on it soon. And yes, hopefully an overlay version, too.

No you only need one. Non default is for specific sims and default put's the body on all sims in your game.
