SexLab Animations Not Working Properly (read thoroughly)

Recommended Posts

ANOTHER "SECKZLAHBNOTWORKINGG!!!!" thread. Yeah. Shocking.

Well I'm havin' personal issues (non-bodily, I'll save that for my character and his woman) and am in need of personal assistance.

I put my active mods list here - https://modwat.ch/u/maccrawinthejaw - so check it over and let me know if there's something I'm missing or need to manually tweak or something. But as for the issue...

It's pretty much in the screenshots. Every time I try a physical romance party with Aurlyn, we either end up fused together (the porno sequel to "The Fly", "The Fuck", where the movie monster is the "Kanaurlyn" - my character's name is Kanan) - I like close proximity but that's just ridiculous - or about five feet apart.

We spend our days mindlessly murdering things and slowly pushing back Aurlyn's quasi-pacifist ideology, y'now? I want some time to unwind, undress, and enjoy. I've killed many dragons; I'm a war hero; a champion of an anti-vampire commando force; a werewolf (doggy style is first on my list once I get this shit fixed); and so many other things to brag about.

Please help me, Lovers of the Lab.

EDIT #1: I forgot to post a crash/debug log. My fault entirely. Hope it's of use.

Papyrus.0.log

did you run FNIS?

Okay, so I did run it and follow its instructions, but still no dice.

I'm uploading another log - it has the same name as the first one but it was the most recent in terms of "last modified", so I can only assume it's either a new one with a separate name or one that updates with the save it's slaved to.

This mod.

64.vMYC_MeetYourCharacters.esp

Delete it, use your car and run over it, since it is not compatible whit Sexlab. That mod should not been used, it have old papyrus files and other issues.

REMOVE IT.

Remove the old Unofficial Patches you have and use Usleep.

And you should consider to add SOS or SAM.

How have you installed your mods?

There was another SexLab plugin/mod that either had MYC as a necessity, or a necessity that used MYC as a necessity.

But Usleep, I'll download. Are the Unofficial Patches the problem, or MYC, or both?

I shut off MYC/Familiar Faces, and I shut off the old Unofficial Patches and replaced them with the Unofficial Legendary patch. Still, it isn't working. :/

First. MyC is terrible outdated uses old papyrus files, that Sexlab cant use. There are other mods that also need the latest.

REMOVE IT if you want to have working sexlab.

And MyC dont work whit latest Papyrus. Did you fail to read that when you downloaded the mod from Nexus?

Usleep is The Unofficial Patches. But those are supported and do updates, those you use have not been updated for at least one year.

Did look at your papyrus logs, those was one mess. Probably because your mod choices.

Your loadorder is not correct.

How have you installed your mods?

MO/NMM/Wrye Bash or from Workshop.

What Sexlab plugin do want MyC  as master?

You should not use that plugin since it should also have issues then.

I took off MYC, so don't slam me with that. I downloaded it at a time when Papyrus wasn't really prominent in my mod list, so it went over my head.

I did what you said about USLEEP and, as I said, I have that in place of the old UPs. If my mod load order isn't correct, then should I use LOOT, or do it manually, or...?

I use Mod Organizer (think I might've said that from the get-go).

And honestly, I can't remember. Probably was for something irrelevant and/or obsolete. I'll mention it again if it becomes an issue, but the bottom line is that I took off MYC/FF and the old UPs.

Ok good. Sorry if you think I slammed you. But that mod is terrible. It mess many things up, must say it was one good mod, did use it my self, but the OP have failed to update it so now it only give people trouble.

Think i have helped 25 people at Steam whit issues that comes from that mod alone.

You use MO. As I do. Good.

Then you should do as following.

Download Stand alone LOOT. You must run it from inside MO.

https://loot.github.io/

Use that to sort your mods. Dont use the LOOT that comes whit MO. It is old.

Then you should have one decent right side.

Next you should sort your Left side so it looks similar to your right side. Your left side in MO is basic your installation order.

Dont let MO to fix your left side. It mess up your left side.

You must do that manual. It is tedious I know.

You should download those mods.

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/77465/? Modern Brawl Bug Fix by Enai Siaion

No mod or file/script should overwrite any file from those 3 mods.

So you should place them close to last, the only file that should come after those are Skeleton and your Overwrite folder for your MO profile.

Can I use a Nexus-downloaded LOOT?

Also, I didn't think the left was of any importance - I thought it just meant which mods were installed (I guess of some importance), and the right panel was which ones were enabled.

I already have JContainers, which, ironically, was a prerequisite to MYC. But what do the other two mods do? Is PapyrusUtil something that SexLab runs on? Or is it just Papyrus's long name and by that logic then do I already have it?

Loot from Nexus?

Did check that one, yes you can use that one, did not know that WrinklyNinja have posted it there to.

It is the same as the one I did link to.

Yes MyC do need Jcontainers.

Sadly it dont work that well in MO. As I did say, good mod, but needs updating.

Yea, the left side, that differs MO from other mod tools, and shows its power. take some time to learn it properly.

Easy to move mods around instead of reinstall half of your modlist.

PapyrusUtil is the base of all mods, it is one must have mod. Skyrim it self runs on Papyrus.

I cant explain what it do. Others perhaps can.

Modern Brawlbug. You will need it. Google it.

Well I have a bit of a complication - I launched up LOOT, and my Mod Organizer folder (where all the mods are) isn't a valid option. There's something at the bottom called "MO" that was the failed byproduct of a test to try and figure it out on my own, but it didn't work.

I got it installed to MO and launched it through there. Now all of a sudden it decides to show my mods, but there was an enormous red clusterfuck of messages. I tried hitting the sort button, and it removed it, but I'm afraid it may come back to bite me in the ass.

And this Papyrus plugin, can I install it through MO?

So I used LOOT, I installed the Papyrus thing... and it still isn't working properly.

All your mods must be installed throe MO.

So you manage to sort them, good.

You need to fix many other things like Fnis and stuff.

You dont want your male to have his undergarment on? Do you?

What you now can do, is to post 2 text files here.

One is your left window and the other is your right window in MO.

The files can be found in your profile in your MO.

loadorder.txt Your right window

and

plugins.txt. Your left window

I can check them later, need to get some sleep now. To tired. Worked as usual at night.

Imho helping to understand things is more helpful than just solve certain problems, so i'd like to clarify this point. The left is shows what is installed, so far correct. But if it's checked there it is also installed into your game, no matter what you do on the right side.

You can (ab)use this to use some mods without adding scriptload to your game if you don't need those scripts. For example, the skeleton xpmse offers a lot of functions, but if you just want some sexlab stuff and no custom animations and places for weapons, you can disable the .esp on the right side and it will still overwrite the vanilla skeleton because it's installed on the left side. So, depending on the mod and what it is supposed to do, the left order is more important than the right side, and sometimes both MUST have the same order.

For a patch that's quite obviously. If you install "mod X" and after that "patch for mod X", he patch will overwrite parts of the original, and is supposed to do so. You don't want "mod X" overwrite the "patch for mod X". But the .esp for the patch has to be after the .esp for the mod as well, or the orginial scripts will have a higher priority.

In those cases the game will still probably start, but something will most likely go wrong ingame.

So, after running Loot, manually sort your left side accordingly. It's not necessary for every mod, but you don't know which mods need that and which don't. And probably nobody does for exactly your order, i'm not going to install all mods you want to play to try it out, that's up to you. ;)

Check the icons in MO to see which mods are overwriting which others, you can double click them and go to "conflicts" to see which files exactly are overwritten. It might help to understand what's going on and to learn which mods you need to sort manually. The warnings in MO can give you a clue, too, but do not let it sort that. If there is a warning, check which mods it's complaining about, and put them manually to the order on the left side.

By now you might get the feeling that MO is crap and you better use NMM because it never complains, but... it isn't. It just doesn't give you those warnings, no matter if there is a conflict or not, and if there is a conflict you have to reinstall mods in the correct order instead of just drag&drop them in a different order.

And the necessary file is called "loadorder.txt", you posted your "lockedorder.txt" which is empty.

MO is superior to NMM.

In your left side you need to swap some plugins around.

I dont have all your mods so I cant build the left side for you. But you need to sort your masters first, those are in wrong place.

Check how LOOT have sorted them in the right side. Put your masters accordingly. Dont use MO sort, it will ruin your work. You should consider turning that off.

You should see some red Flash+ and - signs. - is when some mod have overwrited assets from that mod. + is your mod overwrite other mods.

If you have one flash and it are greyed, then that mod is not used even if it is active. Since all files from it are overwrite.

Read this tread at Steam, it have nice information.

About the mods you have from Workshop, you should check if you can find them at Nexus instead.

And yea, if you see any Uncle post, that is me.

I'm hit with an issue of "Overwrite" on the left side. Gopher's video showed an instance of how to deal with that issue; I did what he showed (clicking, making a new mod, naming it, and saving it) but it still had no effect. I tried submitting a video through here but it didn't work.

Now when you say sort the left side, do you mean drag them in the same order that LOOT made for the right side? (I said before and I'll say again that I got rid of MO's sorter in favor of the official and latest LOOT; also, I got rid of the Steam Workshop mods.)

It didn't let me upload a video I recorded, which was frustrating as hell; but the main issue I'm having is that when I look at the errors in the top right with the warning sign, it says the thing with "Overwrite" that Gopher talked about in the video that was posted here earlier. I did what he showed/said but the Overwrite returns as soon as I launch up Skyrim.

Sorry for the double post - LL glitched and acted like my first one didn't send, so I rewrote the original in a different way, and when that second response came up then so did the first.

Yes you drag and drop as you say, in the left side.

MO have one other sorter, for the left side. Up in the right corner, you have one warning sign. You should always check that one.

But if it says that you need to fix your loadorder, DONT click autofix. It messes things up.

Instead open it up, and check what mods need to be moved, do that manually.

MO dont do that part god at all.

When you play, Skyrim will make some files for you, and those will end up in one folder Overwrite. you can find that one at the bottom in left side in MO.

Make sure that you move those files to on separate folder/mod that have the same name as your profile.

I think that Gophers Video that MadMansGun did link to talks about that. Make sure that you check that one out. Gopher have made several, check them that takes up things you dont understand.
