Basic thong, ready for wearing under clothing. Custom mesh and diffuse/normal maps by me. If there's interest I'll do some different textures/colors, it's mostly to give me options for underwear if I'm modifying other costumes.

Hitomi - Loose Hair

 

I really don't like her hairband, so I made Hitomi look a bit older with a nicer hairstyle.

I got annoyed with the seams and imperfections so I did it over! Still some body clipping, maybe will fix in the future, not too distracting at the moment. My favorite Kokoro so far.

Working on a change to Kokoro's school outfit, but working with all the different meshes is annoying, I'll probably stick to swimsuits in the future unless it's an easy change.

 

 

If anyone has ideas for swimsuits, post 'em here and I'll see if I can get inspired! Thinking about doing something I saw in DOAX3 (Kokoro in the top-right):

This swimsuit looks really nice. It seems to be a variation of the swimsuit at the upper right corner in the X3 ad. That suit has a band at the hips though. How does your suit look from behind?

If you please, would you make a cameltoe design?

 

It's quite hard to make the cameltoe obvious, it would require some finagling with the normal maps which I don't have experience in. I may give it a shot later.

I'm looking for more of a satin-y texture instead of knit; texture stuff takes me a lot longer than modelling, hopefully I'll be able to release this by the end of the weekend.

Do you mean that while you can make the pantie follow the form of the vulva (the one Raz' did with a notable middle "cleft"), you need to make changes to how the lighting emphasizes that cleft?

I'm not familiar with how these things work.

Yeah, most of my underwear is modeled with cleft but unless the lighting is hitting it from the side it's quite hard to tell with geometry alone.

 

This is about as good as you'll get with geometry alone... Doesn't look as good in motion though.

Hmm... Yeah, that is almost invisible.

Strange. Anyway, I've seen real world bikini bottoms that are semi-see-through (sort of a net fabric) but this is really the kind of cameltoe I'm looking for:

I guess that would need a great normal map for the bikini bottom.

Are all clothes rendered in half? Some patterns are obviously not half body type patterns but most clothes details that I've checked seem to be of the half design which makes it even more difficult to create a centered cameltoe...
