True Yennefer of Vengerberg for SKYRIM

Hey man, Brilliant Mod. That being said I'm having a problem with Yens hair. Its not equipping on yen and when I remove everything from her inventory she just equips a hooded version of her outfit and won't equip anything else. Some pointer on how to fix this would be great.

the Yennefer hairs (and Ciri too) are considered like "helm" in the creation kit, the only way for have havok physic on NPCS.

I had a great story with her, i think you don't have received her personality like needed.

i have played only to the 3, but my quest is summarized to a lot fight with ennemies and a lot fucking with Yennefer and a great end (they get married and they have a great time together...)

I like women with a lots of character like Yennefer.

I went into the game wanting to like her, really I did..... but that just never happened at all from the first moment the characters met up. She was just another monster to my Geralt.

For me, and many others I might add, she was not a very nice individual.

Look at how everyone spoke about her in game.... not very positive.

And for that kind of effect on people, there has to be reasons.....as not everyone in the game world can be wrong.

The "nails in the coffin" for me were:

- "robbing Ermion's mask", he being a friend and a father figure to Ciri.

- total disregard for the potential consequences of using the mask.

- not telling her "LOVE" Geralt anything at all about her plans...why, cause as she said, his good nature would have problems with the evil she was planning,... in a nutshell. So basically, she used him in every case to achieve her plans without including him... yea, thats awesome

- Then, what she did to that poor boy Skald...necromancy is forbidden for reasons as is told in the game world of the witcher. Not a care in the world for anyone but herself and her plans.

- Then the total destruction of the sacred garden to raise that poor kids soul back into a rotting hunk of meat....not cool in any way.

- Then how she treated your mates (fellow witchers) of 80-90 years almost.

- How she made no attempt to include them, in their own home nonetheless, in the plans she was hatching.

- Her lack of trust towards anyone...including Geralt.

** Honestly, I didn't like Geralt much either. He should have stood up to her shit... but the Devs didn't write that into it either...another fail on their part by the way...and they admitted it in the forums.

imagine if Ciri knew what she did to Skaal eh ?

Even Ciri said an interesting line about yennefer: "even Yennefer has plans set out for me without me having any say"...as Ciri said outside the room where she was to meet with the sorcercesses.

Honestly, Geralt as we come to know that character, was a pussy....I'd like to think because of his wish.... but probably also due to hormones..lol, like allot of players.

Suffice to say, Yennefer was not trusted by most everyone in the game world....as many and most instances point too.... PLUS well over half the players themselves as is shown on the forum's.

So yea, I think I received her personality just like how she was created by the Devs..... she is a nasty lady not liked by anyone.

And as the saying goes, you get what you give, cause the game-world hated/distrusted her and many RW people as well.

All in all, not a bad game, but not great either.

As a review said, the game got initial great scores thanks in large part to the 65% CGI movies the game was made up from. But after their effect on the player wore off, people started realizing how bad it was too.

In fact, he took issue with it being called a game, and referred to it as an interactive novel...thats it. Very little replayability even with expansions.

It got great reviews at first as another game review magazine in Germany said...because you were pulled into the story deeply via the great CGI moments which took up well more than half the game. In other words, a movie...a good movie, but a movie nonetheless.

And ppl try to compare that to Skyrim which is years old...lolol. If Beth put movies like that into their games...shit, nothing would compare...ever.

Wait till FO4 hits the scene.... TW3 will be eating dust....it almost is now. People are leaving the forums in droves for many reasons.

Anyway, that is one wall of text I just wrote...lol (I'm on the beer during my vacation...so forgive me)

In closing, again, thanks for giving me the tools to make "my wish" come true in the land of Skyrim.

Imma gonna lay her dead body on some mountain top in one of those draugr caskets...rofl.

Most of the "evil" things Yennefer committed that you listed came with good reason. The Mask, the garden, necromancy, the trail of grasses, all of it was to find Ciri, who she loves as a daughter, before the Wild Hunt did. If Ciri wasn't found, it was likely that the Wild Hunt would've found her first, forced her to open a portal between worlds that would lead to the invasion from the Aen Elle, or Ciri probably wouldn't have been the right place to stop the White Frost.

And its not like she's sadistic and enjoyed the things she did. She hated using necromancy, and the spell obviously put a lot of strain on her body. She kept Geralt and the other Witchers in the dark about using the Trial of the Grasses because it was a very sensitive subject, and thus they could have refused to help her with her task, which I once again point out was essential in finding Ciri.

So tell me what the fuck else would you, Geralt, do to find Ciri after exhausting your every lead? Aimlessly walk around, fight bandits, slay monster, fuck women or go exploring for fun until Ciri magically dropped into your lap? Yennefer wasn't playing an open world game, she was living in a harsh world with high stakes and desperately racing against time to save her daughter from terrifying spectral elves. So yeah, the so call "bitch" was the only one with the balls to do what needed to be done.

And once they found Ciri, she wasn't really as bitchy anymore, except maybe to Triss and Geralt if they decide to become a couple, which is fair since Geralt did cheat on her. Yeah I know Geralt lost his memory but Triss, her best friend, took advantage of that fact. Beside I guess we should blame her for been super supportive when she found out that her lover fucked a dear friend of hers while she was been held by the Wild Hunt, and that now she's back Geralt decides to get together with Triss.

Yes I do admit she does have a bitchy personality and is not the nicest sorceress around, but I prefer to see her as a woman with fire, passion and drive. The main reason I romanced her was because of the history I felt between her and Geralt, even without having read the books. Basically when I heard Priscilla sing her song (The Wolven Storm) based on Geralt and Yennefer, I knew it had to be Yen. However, if I were roleplaying as myself, I would've picked Triss.

Since you mentioned that there could be a mod causing issues I do have 100 mods (I'm kind of a mod junkie). One that comes to mind is a mod that changes the female vanilla clothes to be more revealing. I have SkyHair that although doesn't change anything vanilla it adds some hairs to the game. Finally I do have some custom races installed. I link some images from my nexus mod manager to show you what mods I have so you wont have to do much detective work. I greatly appreciate your help!

It's possible you have some conflicts with your race mods, because if i remember, a guy have been mentioned some glitchs with Ciri and a race mod.

(Race mod are always glitchy).

I haven't checked Ciri yet. I will go visit her and see if she has the same issue as Yennefer. If you checked the word document (I do not have snippet to make them JPEGs) I do have a couple custom races installed and I could try disabling them to see if it can resolve the issue. Many thanks!

UPDATE: I checked Ciri (before I disabled the custom race mods) and strangely she had her boots unequipped and her hair was fine. I took her clothing and she was not naked either and the only apparel that was not equipped was her boots. I gave back her clothes and the boots equipped onto her, from there I noticed that the equip arrow for showing what apparel was equipped on your character and NPC was marked only on Ciri's boots. The rest of the clothing was not equipped but still showed on Ciri. Even after I disabled the race mods I was still having the same issues with both Yennefer and Ciri. This is definitely confusing and weird and I have no clue as to what other mod could be causing the problem. I still appreciate that you are willing to solve this piece by piece and I will try playing some other characters (vanilla races) and see if its not just my one character im playing (Nord).

UPDATE 2: Even when playing different characters the problems still persist.

The problem is every body have a different Skyrim with the mods who modify the vanilla game, it's why sometime it's hard to find a solution.

But it's the rules of modding world, we must to do with it.

I think you have some scripts who modify the inventory of your NPC or something like that.

But, don't forget if you change some things with any controls you can ruin your game. It's why sometime it's preferable to "accept" some bugs (or to find a fresh solution) and have a game who staying "alive".

How to find her clothes:
You can find a barrel test with all parts, with the invit command:

Did anyone ever find a solution for the bug with the hair not showing? She's got a buzzed haircut for some reason. I even tried giving her a wig/helm after removing all her items and still no luck.

It's as if the hair isn't in the right equipment slot.

EDIT: I downloaded the Havok item alone for HDT Breast & Butt Physics & it allowed me to get both Ciri & Yennefer in game. Problem is she has ho hair like the guy above me mentioned. Is there a solution available? I have no custom race mods like you mentioned in earlier posts & only the required skeleton & HDT mods you listed in the mod descriptions.

EDIT 2: I "somewhat" fixed this by removing the hood armor from her as a follower, then used the console to force equip her hair, started a sex animation with the strip editor knowing not to strip her hair, moved to another cell & her hair loaded on her properly.

The problem that came later is shit like THIS:

i dont know why, but yennefer is almost bald in my game, she got no 3d hair, just hair painted in the head

Hi, dear author s666, I have been adventuring with your true Ciri, Yennifer, Helena that I can't really play without them.

Several attempts for porting them to sse has been made by myself, but didn't have any luck doing it… QQ

I don't know if it is still available to ask for requests to bring them back to sse?

How can i use her head on the other yennefer mod from nexus?? yours looks 324832487238472389 better than the one on nexus but the file structure in your folder is completely different

How do we get a voiced version or can we import the sound files from the Levionte Nexus version? I see people asking about this on the forum here but I can't find an answer. It can't be as easy as just putting the Sound folder from Levionte's version into this True Yennefer version, right. Any ideas?
