Crash on exit and Knights of the Nine

My game crashes on exit. I've been using the CleanQuit mod for several years, but I finally decided to repair it after all these years.

Masters for: test.ess

00  Oblivion.esm
01  Knights.esp

I've been successful in locating the culprit. This is the only one causing CTD-on-exit problem for me.

The problem is, even if I load it up on tes4Edit and try cleaning, "remove identicals" and "undelete and disable" report nothing.

Is there any way I can clean this mod and be free of ctd on exit problem?

I'd be appreciated for any suggestion and help... except for uninstalling kotn for good ;)

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try it later, but at the moment my concern is to not use such things. So I'm still looking to find a solution.

Before i cleaned Mods I could Exit vanilla Oblivion (all DLCs) without CTD, but I have a german Oblivion.

When I start cleaning Mods I remember that the Kights.esp was dirty

I found a old(original) Kights esp

96 "Identical to Master"

257 "Undeleting and Disabling References"

only the automatic cleaning

Edit: Fast Exit2 only Change the method to Exit the game, nothing else.

Huh.. I don't remember actually. Perhaps I tried "cleaning" it years ago and forgot about it.

Then perhaps I could simply replace kotn with the original one....

Ok I'll report it back

Yes I searched some time before I was able to find a original Version in an old backup Folder.

I have all my cleaned DLCs in OMods so I must not clean again when  i install the Game again.

It's strange. I reinstalled kotn, now the game did not crash.

Then I tried "cleaning" it again, and the game still does not crash. (!!)

Perhaps because of Tes4edit version difference. I never know... But many thanks, my oblivion is now completely fine without fast exit thingy, thanks to you. But I might try fastexit2 anyway if it's worth.
