Guest
a truly entertaining author, his books are great, a shame he has passed at such a young age. Link to comment
Starbrow65
Humour, humanity and wisdom rolled into one. He's missed already. But the books remain. Link to comment
Caster Troy
Sad as the news is, I'm happy for him. He got to die with his wits still about him, surrounded by his family. Which is precisely what he wanted. Thank you for making a reader out of me, Terry Pratchett. RIP. Link to comment
Duoleb The Chosen
"Over the centuries, mankind has tried many ways of combating the forces of evil... prayer, fasting, good works and so on. Up until Doom, no one seemed to have thought about the double-barrel shotgun. Eat leaden death, demon..." — Terry Pratchett Link to comment
Cynical Misanthrope
I have never read any book by Terry Pratchett. There, I said it! On the other hand, I do not really read any books. They have no pictures in them! Link to comment
Morferous
Sir Terence David John Pratchett had suffered from rare form of Alzheimer's disease since 2007. His death didn't really come as a surprise. Terry showed us his wonderful world. I hope he found a new one after his passing. Link to comment
hafertaler
It's really sad, I've been reading his books for the last half of my life and it's disheartening to know, that their won't be a constant stream of new releases. He was a real workhorse overflowing with ideas, and I barely have any unread books of his left : ( Just last week when I was in India I had to point out the river was so dirty, you could draw the outline of a murder victim on it... He'll be missed. Link to comment
