Kendo 2 Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 I've searched both Google and Yahoo and I can't find anything listed for turning a custom piece of armor or clothing into a ground model that can be viewed in the character's inventory and dropped on the ground. I'm using Blender 2.49 and Nifscope. I've seen armor mods that have custom ground meshes so I know it can be done, I just don't know how to do it. The processes that work for Oblivion and FO do not work for Skyrim. Links would be nice but if anyone reading this actually knows how to do it, that would be great. Thanks in advance.
b3lisario Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 I know two methods. Get a vanilla ground object mesh and replace it with your custom mesh in Nifskope. Collision won't be perfect, but it's easy at least. Tutorial, but not for blender: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/9551-goc-method-armor-world-object-tutorial-3ds-max-2012-and-nifskope/
Zquad1 Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 or you can also just delete the Body mesh within nifscope from the _1 file & save it as a .gnd or .go Example: "Corsert_1" save & rename "Corset_GND" this method isn't the best for all pieces But it works
Kendo 2 Posted January 15, 2015 Author Posted January 15, 2015 Thanks guys! I have some things to test out now. Still need to figure out how to add collision and set ups for bk objects using Blender. I want to be able to add my own havok.
