WesternEnclave Posted July 21, 2014 Author Posted July 21, 2014 I know how to get to it but do I put those numbers in?
fejeena Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 1 click Skin 2 double click below value the Color line 3 click in the number field and use your Keyboard ( of course only numbers ) then second and third number field. Or 4 use the up/down arrows ( not recommended, may take long ) My NifSkope Settings I don't like Blocks in tree, I always use Blocks in List.
WesternEnclave Posted July 21, 2014 Author Posted July 21, 2014 Well turns the Ambient and diffuse colors already those numbers -.- Any other suggestion on how to get my character more oily?
fejeena Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 The normal map here a gloss tutorial ( use Google and you find more) http://www.loverslab.com/topic/1652-gloss-tutorial/ I do not know if it's good, I don't use/like gloss.
WesternEnclave Posted July 21, 2014 Author Posted July 21, 2014 well I tried installing gimp for that tutorial a while back, then I found out I need a .dds plugin, got it and then I couldn't install it because Im missing some dll or whatever ugh....I wish someone could just make something like glossmax but instead of editing meshes it edits Textures
WesternEnclave Posted July 21, 2014 Author Posted July 21, 2014 Well I tried following the Guide but because its for Photoshop and I have Gimp 2 it's really hard to follow -.- Any suggestions?
myuhinny Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 They have one like that for skyrim that glosses texture files it's called glosstech it's nasty looking.
WesternEnclave Posted July 22, 2014 Author Posted July 22, 2014 Nasty looking as in good, or Nasty looking as in bad? xD And can it be used for oblivion? If I could somehow get this Guide: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/1652-gloss-tutorial/ to be explained with Gimp 2 That would be great :/
myuhinny Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Nasty as in high polished shiny chrome like look where it looks like someone took your player to the car wash added a buffing cream to them and then buffed their asses with a buffing tool and no glosstech can't be used for oblivion as it's a skyrim tool and not a oblivion tool. The only way that I found to get glosstech to look good was to use it and then change the glossiness float on the skyrim nifs as well then it got a nice glossy/oily look. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/5437/?
