Hello everyone,

 

Do you ever feel the same way?

Whenever you’re in CAS, do you find yourself thinking, "My CAS panel is just too cluttered"?

Wish you could get rid of all those EA clothes?

 

There are already mods out there by various creators that hide EA objects, hairstyles, clothing, and so on—but for me, that was a bit too extreme.

 

So, here’s the story:

I’ve been playing The Sims 4 since the very beginning, and I’ve spent a lot of time working with clothing and objects in Sims 4 Studio.

It always annoyed me to constantly have to swap out EA’s clothing for my own custom content (CC)—especially the shoes.

I’ve always found the sleepwear and swimwear options particularly bothersome; I mean, who actually wears shoes to bed or while swimming?

So, I got to work using Sims 4 Studio to create overrides for the shoes.

After a few hours of work, it was done: all EA shoes are now hidden in CAS.

I’ve created individual files for the shoes, organized by expansion/game/stuff pack.

This means everyone can customize their own setup exactly how they like it.

In other words:

If you want to keep certain EA shoes, simply remove the file that contains them, and they’ll reappear.

You can also edit the files to suit your own preferences—that works, too!

 

If you’re familiar with Sims 4 Studio, you can easily combine these into larger packages. I intentionally left them separate so that everyone has the freedom to set things up however they prefer.

 

 

The files I’ve created apply only to Teen, Young Adult, Adult, and Elder Sims.

 

 

I’m planning to tackle other types of clothing in the coming days, though I can’t make any promises just yet.

Just a heads-up: I’ll be focusing exclusively on full-body outfits, tops, and bottoms.
